Alex leaves for Bear Lake to start Endurance training with the recruits, this is going to be one.
The inquiry starts, since there's video evidence of Ryan shooting the gunman the lawyers representing the families don't even try that one. Instead they attempt to attack Ryan on the ground of whether he was providing effective command, ultimately they're unsuccessful as even Ryan can see that the judges aren't impressed. All soldiers are also given anonymity and are screened during the inquiry, with Ryan being Lieutenant C.
"Good luck Ryan, you'll do fine" (L)
On that day Ryan had to appear as a character witness, another soldier Private D, had panicked at sight of a gunman in a corridor and as such fired indiscriminately, missing the gunman but ending up hitting 2 innocent journalists, 1 of whom died. Another soldier hit the gunman, but Ryan has to now explain the character of Private D, who normally is quite a decent soldier from little he knows of him.
Lindsey talks with Alex every night, Alex for the most part just gets to watch as the recruits go about to various checkpoints, luckily he also gets a nice tent to rest in and a fire to keep up, plus a view.
Life starts as normal again with the family going to the beach, Ryan training, and Evelyn did 2 more paintings.
And Alex is home!
With some nice fireworks to end of a rainy Leisure Day(and quite a rainy Summer to this year).

Ava Sinclair has returned yet again, this time in the non-populated world of Niua Simoa (created by kiwi_tea on MTS). Due to not having all the EP's installed because of my computer issues, she got a bit of a makeover in hair and a few clothes. I may have to look for different hair for her but it works for now. As before, she is a fairy so that she will have a longer lifespan.
Ava didn't have much money so she bought one of several little huts in the world. She has a few neighbors as I filled a few houses in with Sims in the library.
With no money for a car (let alone a driveway for it), Ava took the taxi to apply for a job.
Instead of being Leader of the Free World, Ava decided to take a job in the business career. One reason is that it is an easier career and also because she can hold meetings later on. Afterwards, I sent her to city hall to take a charisma class.
Once she got home, she headed over to meet her new neighbors, the Martinez family. She got hearts for Pablo but unfortunately he is already married.
She also met Pablo's wife, Jennifer Martinez.
Not having any cooking skills, Ava made a salad for her supper. With only her so far, she doesn't need to worry about cooking much anyway.
These little huts don't have room for kitchen tables so Ava had to eat on the loveseat. Hopefully she will be able to buy a better house later, although there doesn't seem to be that great of a selection.
Tonight was a full moon but there aren't any occults so only the zombies will be out tonight.
***Not sure if I'll keep her in Nimu Simoa or not, depends if I find a better town that suits my needs. I can play in EA worlds but it seems I get more lag that way so I'm going this route instead. I might also bring Hank Goddard back so she can have her soulmate back.
Every time a sim in this generational save ages up to child, if it's not a school day I send them to the playground I've built next to the school, and invite townie children to the lot using Master Controller. I'm always excited to see what the new generation of Sunset Valley children looks like.

Valerie Steel arrived a little later.
Evangeline and Curtis played on the seesaw, while Timothy chatted with Valerie. After Valerie said she hated writing, her relationship with Timothy went down a little.
I was mooching money from rich "friends" and one of my sims friend's wife started flirting with my sim over and over while I just wanted to drink some plasma (of course I got kicked out for some reason). So I decided "Why not have a child with her if she likes my sim so much?" and after that I never talked to her again and her husband is probably wondering why "his" baby has a taste for blood.
But karma wouldn't leave me be, cause my sim got abducted and had alien twins. (I curse my space rock collection)
***Just had a minor issue with my computer last night when doing feedback so I had to cut it short. Problem is fixed now so I'm going to do as much as I can today. Tomorrow I probably won't be on as I am going to the Illinois State Fair to see Dan + Shay with my brother so thought I better do this today.

@coco I hope so too. It's been a little better today, although it sounds like severe weather is coming Monday. We haven't really had any since the tornadoes we had around in May.
Unfortunately things will be cooling down a lot in a few months over here. I'm not looking forward to snow.
Well, it seems to handle a small population rather well. I haven't added too many townies yet though, so we shall see. I'm also thinking about using a different town as I have an idea that would be perfect for my computer to handle.

Apparently all that fun and sun tired this gal out - after a quick lunch and tour of a firefighter's museum and seeing my SIL and her kids off back to Colorado I took the longest nap of my life today (4 hours!!!) so I apologize for taking so long to get back to people. Also I want to tag @emorrill and @meerkattime both as I wanted to report that I did not get @meerkattime 's tag but saw it scrolling between two other people who had tagged me - so it's evidentally not just @emorrill 's tags I'm missing - I apologize to anyone who may have tagged me in the past if it seems I ignored them. I don't often have the time needed to read every post on this fast moving thread, most of the time I have to single out posts with story/play updates - so if I've ever not responded to your comment it's because I didn't get the tag and hadn't seen it simply scrolling. I considered uploading them both (though I'd make new twins so they weren't @CravenLestat's work ) but I want to make sure there are no routing issues first. It was so fun looking up vintage pictures of Romani circuses and wagons for inspiration. I'm considering making Peaches a tattooed lady for the side show stage, too, but I don't know what I'd have her do to earn tips or make money there (while the fams on the lot I like to treat them like it's their job, not a place to visit and have fun at, so I typically try to have them perform for tips - or obviously with the strong man area the strong man could break space rocks I really wish, however, that I could have had 2 separate and individually functioning performance stages so that Rummy and eventually Kiku and either Riko or Tiny George (haven't decided which, probably TG) could all perform twice a week, but alas it was not meant to be. Kiku's lifetime wish is to master all 4 instruments so she can play for tips on the band stage I guess. That tent's prettier anyway

@PalmArrow That whole sideshow area was such an organic moment, it was so cool. First I wanted to make a snack stand, but in the middle of making it I was inspired to make the mermaid tank by the cirque pics from the sims store. It all first looked like this:
but when I started looking up pictures of old timey circuses for inspiration there were so many side shows that ran and many of them were simply spectacle shows (like the tattooed lady, or they'd often have "savages from <insert exotic place>" or things they claimed to be "artifacts from <insert infamous location like King Tuts Tomb>" and all sorts of lightbulbs went off.

Ava will be reunited with Hank but this will be an alternate reality from my other stories with her. Mona and Evelyn take their final exams, and do very well.

She meets her roommate.
First day of classes. Mona is starting a Technology major, with a specialization in forensic sciences.
A fire starts on the lot and burns a decent chunk of the kitchen. As such Mona upgrades the stove to be fireproof.
Just the normal stuff of lectures and activities.
Mona also keeps regular contact with her family via phone.
She meets a Lewis, Mona seems to have a little bit of a crush on him.
Exams are complete.
An A is a good grade.

Glad you enjoyed LJS and I'm a little sad it's over too, but I can't focus on two stories at a time or I get character's personalities mixed up and it feels overwhelming. I use Fraps to take pictures instead of the 'c' button. I'm pretty sure you can download it for free. All I do is press F10 which minimises the UI (or leave it in if I want to). I have the screenshot button tied to my ';' key. It takes pictures in .png format which retain more detail than .jpg which is what the normal game camera tool does. It also timestamps the pictures so it's easier for me to see when they were taken.

@meerkattime Anyone who doesn't believe depression is real is purposely being naive. It really angers me how some people will be all like, "Well if you're praying and reading scriptures every day, even going to church each week, you wouldn't feel depressed..." Yeeeeah, they just don't get it! Our church has become more and more open about mental illness and the importance of being aware and getting it properly treated. I am so thankful!

Introducing Adam Sinclair, who is not Ava's twin in this universe, but is her male counterpart. He has all her traits and LTW and is our main male character. Like his female counterpart, Adam is also a fairy.
This is his female companion, Hillary Goddard, the female counterpart to Hank Goddard. Like Adam, she has all of Hank's traits and is a normal human but in this universe, she and Adam have just met. They are living in a town called Deery Meadows which is a custom world and empty. EA worlds seem to have more lag for me due to the fact they have many houses and lots of Sims so an empty custom world works best for now.
I picked one of the biggest lots for them to live on and they will have to live off fish and plants for a while.
Since they need fish to eat, both Adam and Hillary headed to a close pond to fish.
During their conversation, both Adam and Hillary felt an attraction for the other. This will come in handy for populating this world. And don't worry, no relatives will be in a romantic relationship as that is just icky. If I need a spouse, I'll just add someone.
After both leveling to the second skill point, both headed home to eat and converse with one another.
Adam: We got this town all to ourselves. We can build whatever we want when we have the money to do so.
Hillary: Okay, I want a theater where we can watch the latest drama or romance movie.
Adam: Sounds like a plan, although I think we need government first and foremost.
The Watcher left them with no money but did leave two sleeping bags. He wanted them to at least have something to sleep in. After selling their leftover fish, they ended the day with 79 Simoleons.
***I'll have two more updates tomorrow as well as some feedback, as long as I have time before heading to the fair.

On that day Ryan had to appear as a character witness, another soldier Private D, had panicked at sight of a gunman in a corridor and as such fired indiscriminately, missing the gunman but ending up hitting 2 innocent journalists, 1 of whom died. Another soldier hit the gunman, but Ryan has to now explain the character of Private D, who normally is quite a decent soldier from little he knows of him.
Lindsey talks with Alex every night, Alex for the most part just gets to watch as the recruits go about to various checkpoints, luckily he also gets a nice tent to rest in and a fire to keep up, plus a view.
Life starts as normal again with the family going to the beach, Ryan training, and Evelyn did 2 more paintings.
And Alex is home!
With some nice fireworks to end of a rainy Leisure Day(and quite a rainy Summer to this year).
Here he is making a visit on one of his trips around Sim Nation checking out the new skills course that was sort of his idea to begin with!

New Adventures of Ava Sinclair
Ava Sinclair has returned yet again, this time in the non-populated world of Niua Simoa (created by kiwi_tea on MTS). Due to not having all the EP's installed because of my computer issues, she got a bit of a makeover in hair and a few clothes. I may have to look for different hair for her but it works for now. As before, she is a fairy so that she will have a longer lifespan.
Ava didn't have much money so she bought one of several little huts in the world. She has a few neighbors as I filled a few houses in with Sims in the library.
With no money for a car (let alone a driveway for it), Ava took the taxi to apply for a job.
Instead of being Leader of the Free World, Ava decided to take a job in the business career. One reason is that it is an easier career and also because she can hold meetings later on. Afterwards, I sent her to city hall to take a charisma class.
Once she got home, she headed over to meet her new neighbors, the Martinez family. She got hearts for Pablo but unfortunately he is already married.
She also met Pablo's wife, Jennifer Martinez.
Not having any cooking skills, Ava made a salad for her supper. With only her so far, she doesn't need to worry about cooking much anyway.
These little huts don't have room for kitchen tables so Ava had to eat on the loveseat. Hopefully she will be able to buy a better house later, although there doesn't seem to be that great of a selection.
Tonight was a full moon but there aren't any occults so only the zombies will be out tonight.
***Not sure if I'll keep her in Nimu Simoa or not, depends if I find a better town that suits my needs. I can play in EA worlds but it seems I get more lag that way so I'm going this route instead. I might also bring Hank Goddard back so she can have her soulmate back.

Evangeline and Curtis played on the seesaw, while Timothy chatted with Valerie. After Valerie said she hated writing, her relationship with Timothy went down a little.

I was mooching money from rich "friends" and one of my sims friend's wife started flirting with my sim over and over while I just wanted to drink some plasma (of course I got kicked out for some reason). So I decided "Why not have a child with her if she likes my sim so much?" and after that I never talked to her again and her husband is probably wondering why "his" baby has a taste for blood.
But karma wouldn't leave me be, cause my sim got abducted and had alien twins. (I curse my space rock collection)

@coco I hope so too. It's been a little better today, although it sounds like severe weather is coming Monday. We haven't really had any since the tornadoes we had around in May.

Mona and Evelyn take their final exams, and do very well.
Both of them have their birthday on the first day of Fall.
They both graduate, for some reason Mona was the one that gained many awards(she was valedictorian, most popular. Don't really understand it as Mona always came off as the more academic of the two).

Now the clothes are all set up.
Mona gains a full scholarship and 18 credits in Technology and Science and Medicine. Off Mona goes to University.
She meets her roommate.
First day of classes. Mona is starting a Technology major, with a specialization in forensic sciences.
A fire starts on the lot and burns a decent chunk of the kitchen. As such Mona upgrades the stove to be fireproof.
Just the normal stuff of lectures and activities.
Mona also keeps regular contact with her family via phone.
She meets a Lewis, Mona seems to have a little bit of a crush on him.
Exams are complete.
An A is a good grade.

Adam and Hillary
Introducing Adam Sinclair, who is not Ava's twin in this universe, but is her male counterpart. He has all her traits and LTW and is our main male character. Like his female counterpart, Adam is also a fairy.
This is his female companion, Hillary Goddard, the female counterpart to Hank Goddard. Like Adam, she has all of Hank's traits and is a normal human but in this universe, she and Adam have just met. They are living in a town called Deery Meadows which is a custom world and empty. EA worlds seem to have more lag for me due to the fact they have many houses and lots of Sims so an empty custom world works best for now.
I picked one of the biggest lots for them to live on and they will have to live off fish and plants for a while.
Since they need fish to eat, both Adam and Hillary headed to a close pond to fish.
During their conversation, both Adam and Hillary felt an attraction for the other. This will come in handy for populating this world. And don't worry, no relatives will be in a romantic relationship as that is just icky. If I need a spouse, I'll just add someone.
After both leveling to the second skill point, both headed home to eat and converse with one another.
Adam: We got this town all to ourselves. We can build whatever we want when we have the money to do so.
Hillary: Okay, I want a theater where we can watch the latest drama or romance movie.
Adam: Sounds like a plan, although I think we need government first and foremost.
The Watcher left them with no money but did leave two sleeping bags. He wanted them to at least have something to sleep in. After selling their leftover fish, they ended the day with 79 Simoleons.
***I'll have two more updates tomorrow as well as some feedback, as long as I have time before heading to the fair.
