@squirrelwithacup I always get to tell you in person how great your story is and what an awesome job you are doing on it. I do however, like to tell you here once in a while too. Another great chapter and I'm sure there will be many more to come.

Awh, once again your writing gets to me every time! This was such a great chapter.

And Tiffany...! SO GOSH DARN BEAUTIFUL in those screenshots for one... But also I find myself FEELING for her.... I don't want to. In fact, I am desperately fighting it because every time she and Orion interact I am scared of how far she will push him.... I mean I am literally talking to Orion, going... no, don't, she's bad for you. But does the adorable boi listen...no... no he does not. And so I cry at the end with him....

That makes me really happy to hear. I WANT people to feel real conflict when it comes to Tiffany. On one hand, she's been through a lot and you feel sympathy for her. No one's perfect, she's just being your average rebellious teenager... but on the other hand, her behaviors and inner thoughts can also be taken as something far worse than innocent, reckless decisions...

And Orion trusts her because she's the only person he has TO trust, and even when she's broken it... who else will he turn to? He's so alone in this world. You know that if Tiffany comes back and begs for forgiveness, he'll plunge right back in...

Well, I think the effort is worth it.

There was so much motion in the fight scene pics. I could almost imagine the way Amelia's hair was flowing as she was fighting with Onyx!

Thank you! I tried really hard to get motion in that, since he was supposed to be swooping in really quickly to pin her. So I though the flowing hair would convey that quick motion well... although it was a biiiig pain to draw!

On August 17th, 2018, I posted the prologue to Nightshade. Today (or rather tonight? this morning?), one year and a whopping 58 chapters later, I am so thankful to all of my wonderful readers. You have inspired me to go far beyond what I ever thought I would. Thank you for one year of Nightshade, and here's to yet another one. Who knows where this journey will take our beloved Onyx and Amelia another year from now? I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to find out.

But onto my reaction for this chapter....

Tiffany. I has no words. You have made me speechless.

Seriously though I love how you have Tiffany's though process and Orion's thought processes in here. It makes me want to hug Orion in all his squishiness and then turn to Tiffany and spray her in the face with a water sprayer and be like "Bad Girl! This is not how we treat our cute squishes!"

I mean I get why she thinks the way she does after seeing her parents. She has a fear of loss which leads her to believe she has to control everything with an iron fist since she couldn't control her parents breakup as a kid. Or at least this is my thoughts... but then another part of me is like... she also has Onyx and Amelia and they are SO much better examples to emulate. Missed opportunity girlie...
