I really want to see a more interactive criminal career!
First of all, please bring back burglars! They were annoying but also adorable and hilarious and this could make the detective and secret agent careers more meaningful. Then, the Landgrab family would be actually working against each other in the game play as they were designed to instead of just in theory.
I would like for the criminal career to be more realistic with “work from home” options so that you could play a burglar who is actively trying to not to get caught, with the potential to get locked up by the detectives if you fail. It would also be nice to be able to have a mob boss who has a day time job as a front. The criminal job is pretty lame as it is.
I think having an actual Discord hub for Simmers would be really good. Currently most if not all of us Sims Streamers have our own discord, but there is no real discord specifically for the Sims games. I think it would be amazing to have a discord space where we can all connect even more than we already do. I know that the EA discord is there, but there isn't anything specific for the Sims. Having this would be a good way to get information to people that may only check discord rather than other places.
Right now in my life I need University Life or College Life. Something dealing with bettering a sim and have the option for older sims to be able to further their education as well. Plus hammocks and bunk beds and day beds. I need allat in my life.
Hey, guys, this is my first time on the sims forum but I really wanted to get this idea out there. Hopefully, it doesn't get too lost, cause I feel like its important.
The sims are all about the inclusion of different types of people and it made me think. What about deaf sims? Personally, I am hard of hearing and slowly losing more of my hearing. I know they'd have to make a whole language but if they had it able to be chosen a sim is deaf or randomly born deaf maybe they learn a sign language skill at a faster rate. They could make it a skill so not all sims have to learn it and that it would actually be more realistic. Most hearing people don't learn the language anyways other than maybe the alphabet. IDK maybe it's a bad idea I just think it would be nice for them to incorporate deaf culture into the sims, let me know what you think.
I think that'd be awesome. And they already invented Simlish, and made it usable enough that singers can make covers of their songs in it. So they should be able to do that. They mentioned trying to have more inclusion in the game. But haven't really done much with the different types of disabilities and illnesses that people live with.
They only changed crazy to erratic. Which I found more annoying than understanding. Before sims with that trait would have random mood swings, and talk to themselves. It was a lot, but did cover symptoms of a range of mental illnesses. Now they're just calling them erratic. Which kind of downplays it. And irritates me.
It'd be nice if they stopped with the half-hearted attempts at bridging reality and game, and went for it. Yeah I know that no one will really want their sim to have their health problems hinder their game too much. At least not if it doesn't match how they want to play that family, or sim
But I think it would be a good way to show that they know people of all types play The Sims, and that they appreciate that fact.

I saw the video today, and got really excited for stories. But I had thought they meant that WE chose it. Like saying that the sim had an ex bf that broke their heart, and using a random generated townie to fill that role. Or a dead parent, and that parent being the only one they'd ever known.
Something that made what we dream up, REAL, without cheats.
I also want a way to turn random generated sims into occults from CAS. You can't become an alien in game. Unless you have MCC. Playing with genetics will randomly give you offspring with powers. I had a townie sim that I gave a family. Made her husband a mer, and gave them 5 children.
Not only did skin tones fail to generate randomly, I had to switch parents to start with, or they all came out with the same tone. Starting with dad made them super dark, with mom went super light. None of which matched their parents. They were at beautiful, but didn't look like their parents.
AAAANND only the Youngest 2 children were born mermaids. Out of FIVE. Five children. And you can't CHOOSE occult states for children that are generated. Seriously annoying.
If you get a random sim you like, and then decide you want them to be an occult, you're outta luck. Unless you cheat, or want them to be one of the two you can become ingame.
And WHEN will Aliens get an update. They have no depth. No backstory. Men don't get abducted anymore. Alien night is random and rare. They barely exist. There's no dialogue options for them. Eventhough there's Mermaid and Vampire interactions. And special conversation queues for each.
Did we just forget aliens exist? With Strangerville we might've thought they'd be around more. But that whole thing was about plants. PLANTS. 😑
There's just so much that is ignored or missing in this game. Things that seem simple, and should have already been ingame, like a wider range of skin tones, that we just didn't get, or took years to come. 🙄

I LOVE this. If I could have historical worlds in game for real, I'd be ecstatic.
1.Victorian times
2. Steampunk Fantasy world (not be confused with regular Victorian times)
3. A Celtic pack
4. Medieval British Isles
5. 1920s
6. 1930s
Like themed worlds with special interactions of their own.
And the ability to Create A World with certain aspects. Like:
1. Empty worlds like Newcrest, that go similarly to the worlds we have now.
2. And then empty vacation worlds, where we set the theme.
A. We choose what the seasons look like. Whether it's winter-like all the time. Or if they have noticeable cycles. Or are like Sulani, with 4 seasons, but a tropical clime.
B. We can create resorts. But also have vacation homes for sims to own. And timeshare like resort/apartments. Sims would own them, but rather than having a bunch of land, you have just a floor, or apartment that you own. Like a vacation condo.
C. You can set the culture of that world like it's a club. You'd take activities and beliefs that are in the sims, choose or randomize them. And then any locals would follow those customs. And that would be something visitors can learn about.
3. And worlds we get as a blank slate. With a limit of how many plots we can put down. Like 25 plots.
A. They'd have the same choices as vacation worlds. But you could choose whether they are urban, suburban, country, isolated, or islands.
B. You could make schools, or let sims go to rabbit holes. Same for all GTW careers.
C. If we get an education pack, you could make University Worlds. Or simply have a section of the world set as a university town.
4. Farming worlds could have large plots. Or you could have a semi rabbit hole thing. Like the plot might only look yey big when in manage world, but when you click in, they are basically unlimited. Or have farms count as worlds of their own, in a way.
5. And have greengrocers. And Community gardens, farms, and greenhouses.
Yup I got carried away. This post inspired me.

Yeah. People doing let's plays, or those who just play with stories in mind, could have tailor made worlds that fit their goals. Rather than having lots that are tricked out as cities. But can still only hold 8 sims.
You could make Villages 😯!
Or hamlets. Towns vs cities.
Small towns, with the close knit community, that have all the resources of a city. Just in a more relaxed setting. Oh my brain is tingling.

Holy cow if you can make new worlds, or even just manage ones we have, you could even make new Careers!
Like we have writer, critic, freelancer. So what about an Actual JOURNALIST CAREER?! We could make The Daily Planet. Set it up like the City Living careers. And go to an actual building.
Make it a multi-use lot. Have different levels for different businesses. Or even just have the different floors do different jobs.
Editors up top. Crime reporters in the middle. Let them have detective contacts. Make the jobs able to Interact with each other. Like babysitters and Nannies sharing tips. We could LITERALLY make The Babysitter's Club. Omg. I'm losing it. So many ideas trying to get out.
With multipurpose lots, we could have cafeterias in the work buildings. Or kiosks. And those with part-time fast food jobs would randomly staff them. You might not be able to play the roles, or myb you could choose to like CL.
You could have franchises. Ones that go between worlds. Or towns.
Farmers with actual farms could do co-OP green grocers. Or own a brand of them. And family members could work the different jobs for the business. Not just farm.
And you could Actually create a Family Business, that doesn't require you to be in the same household. Only related. And you could choose to hire workers, or make a worker part of the family team .
We could have Wills!
And all this would work into the world system.
Are you a bookseller at one college? Branch out to them all. Then make a deal with the libraries, for wholesale book purchases.
You wanna make a dystopia? Make a dystopia and set the World Rules.

Most of what I've been craving are more options for CAS... *Piercings (meaning not just the plain earrings but adding all the nose, belly button, lip, eyebrow, helix, etc) *Better and more tattoos *More options for height for all ages (tall, short, average options will be ok or add a slider with the weight and muscle sliders) *More toddler hair options (how about just a normal long hair or curly long hair?) *Adding occult sims like witches and werewolves
Some other things that have been mentioned before, but I really like are: *horses & more pets (like the options from past Sims game exps- birds, snakes, etc) *University (and/or like someone mentioned before, the option to go to school with a child/teen)... *Cars
I would love to have more realistic family relationships. I know we have Parenthood but it would be great to have more interactions between related sims from different households. You could have scheduled events like family reunions, or random events where family come to visit. I think it would be really cool for kids to have close relationships with grandparents/cousins/aunts and uncles without the hassle of constantly going between houses/households.
How about for clubs, being able to choose gender as well? For example, a women's club for those married whose spouses are at work and children at school to socialise with other women who're in the same situation?
The "In a Flash Photo Studio" to be less irritating: More poses, choosing which pose+outfit you want the person you're taking a pic of to use, getting an npc to take a pic of you, pics of more than two sims, pics of elder+adult+child+toddler sims alone and together

I would like to see: - The ability to run and own Daycares - More toys/activities for kids and toddlers like dress-up boxes, and play kitchens - More outdoor toys/play equipment like treehouses - Bunkbeds - Spiral, L shaped, and curved staircases - More pets like turtles or maybe even bunnies
