Sims 3 is one of those smaller fancy ones, you know, with dark chocolate and rich fillings, most of them you know and enjoy, and sometimes there´s a new taste you never had before in that boxes, but it´s delightful!
Sims 4 is the big colourful one, the chocolate is the cheap kind and all the fillings kind of taste the same, mostly sweet and a bit cardboardy. Not bad, if you have a craving for sweets, but not really great either, and if you are unlucky, you end up slightly sick.

I love this. A perfect comparison!

When you walk by a large, very upscale furniture showroom where they are displaying the current designs they seem to be so proud of in huge display windows for passersby on the street to admire. But all you can do is smirk and think can't fool me, that's not eight different sofas we are seeing. Look at the shapes, it's all the same one made out of different materials that have been CASted and Patterned eight different ways. ;)

This morning when I arrived at my workplace, this bunch of balloons was on the pavement outside, and my first thought was "some sims were having a party!"

When each time you see a new house irl you take as much pictures as possible in your mind to rebuild it on TS3.

@Jordan061102 I do the same! They're usually big 2 or 3 story fancy houses though...

When you do some mindless task at work, and while your hands are busy, you start comparing Sims 3 and Sims 4 through foodstuff. I started with cotton candy for Sims 4 and a candied apple for Sims 3, but ended up with boxes of chocolate.

I also thought of Forrest Gump.

You know you're an addict when you read sims fan fiction :#

Haha might even have to write a story one day to REALLY cement my addiction in place!

I've always known I was a Sims 3 addict, I just didn't know how bad until I went to Minnesota for a small vacation in June. My first thought when I got there was something like "...Wow, Minnesota looks so much like the world I'm making". Then I paused, and kind of went, "Wait...I just thought Minnesota looked like my sims world and not the other way around. I'm more addicted than I thought!" :p

You'll sit through the ramblings of 2 EA rep trying to get you to update your game and Origin because your launcher won't connect. :sigh:

    And ...

You'll sit all day reinstalling everything. ;):cookie:

Been there, done that. 😁 From what I've read, the premades from TS2 are pretty good fanfic fuel.

When you think you've only played for 5 minutes but actually it has been 5 hours. You also know you're a Sims 3 addict when you forget to study. (Guilty) lol

"Just one more minute... I need to finish the nursery room"
    ....
    *45 minutes later*

"There. Done. But what about that room..."

TS3 - Best Way to Waste Time. LOL.

I also tend to say to myself "TS3 for one hour, then I'll play another game." and it ends up more than an hour! Bad when you're hoping to get a craft project done or something and realize how quickly time flies.

I came back from a 4-day dogsitting vacation to find the package of EPs I was waiting for came early. I was eager to download 'em all right away, but did just one set then make sure it works. That way if a problem happens I'd know which one did it. Then after opening, realized Ambitions didn't come yet.

Totally went from  to  to :disappointed: to  today.

Only ONE more EP (University Life) and a couple SPs (Town Life, Outdoor Living) and I'll have the ones I want.

Now, to keep telling myself I need to save the $10 worth of Simpoints that came with WA for Daily Deal items.

I was playing Animal Crossing today, and one of my villagers gave me a kitchen sink. My immediate thought was: 'wait, I need a counter to place it in.'

When you stare at all the houses that go past while riding in the car and wonder if you can recreate it in the game.

Stare? No, no; you take pics of those, then go build them!! Yes, I really do that.
