Hi,

It's sad Maxis didn't plan to do something for these occult sims.

I guess the Realm of Magic occult sims and others won't be allowed to do it too.

yeah, they can’t complete the beach life aspiration without sunbathing either.

i really love your idea for moonbathing. as you said, they could raise their vampire energy instead of tanning. it could also fix the aspiration problem, if moonbathing on the beach at night counted toward the aspiration. that’s the kind of cross-pack play that i love in the Sims. really, reallyyyy hope they read this thread.

so my vamps have to stay out of the island? hmm i took 4 sims to the island to swim in the ocean, they had fun, my vamps love to fish. anyway a few days later, maybe a sim week, one my 2 star vamp started turning wt and sudden chills, the only thing he enjoyed was his fireplace, this was dead summer. well i looked aound for a cure. i was angry i had just worked so hard to get an actor. i started over, caues as usual i couldnt find a cureand ive been wondering what he had, y'know so i can keep it from happening again. guess i wont be playing in the island anytime soon. i dont play without my vamp's.

I actually remmeber moonbathing from the Sims urbz on the top of skyline beach. Would have been nice option for vampires

Strangely the half alien can do it but there is no suntan for the blue skin.

What if you give your aliens a human disguise with a normal skin colour? Does it work then, maybe?

I never use the disguise but you're right.

It seems the alien skins get no suntan for the half aliens.

I didn’t expect vampires to be able to suntan (dead skin and all that) but a moon bath would have been fun, like you say. Even so, adding moon baths for vampires would have gone beyond what Ive come to expect from EA. But I would have expected aliens to be able to suntan and it’s weird that they can’t. I guess maybe alien skin doesn’t react to sunlight in the same way?

Oh....that's disappointing! I hope they can update it! At least the tombstone! Mermaids should have seashell tombstones or one that's covered in coral and such.

Oh right, I have missed that. Fair enough (I stand correct). Still feel like this shouldn't go and remain missed regardless. Have a check make and integrate an exception to vampires, where they can complete beach life said goals even/only during at night with undead group with no prohibition.
