Welcome to Tribus, New YorkBuilt along a tributary of the Hudson River, Tribus was founded in the late 19th Century by Walden Jacobs as a small ramshackle settlement for workers who toiled away at Jacobs’ blue sandstone quarry. After accumulating funds from several wealthy yet delusional investors, Jacobs’ ambitions lead him to developing Tribus into a massive park for hosting the Hudson Valley World’s Fair. Though the fair had never actually happened, the beauty of the park attracted a wealthier demographic, leading to the construction of three elaborate neighborhoods. To make way for new construction, Jacobs razed the quarry barracks and forced his workers to live in tunnels, eventually used for a subway system.

Ivory Park
Ivory Park is easily distinguished by its pale buildings, which are fashioned in Beaux Arts, Greek Revival, and Neo-Byzantine architectural styles. Embedded within the hillside, the Park arrogantly lords over the other two districts. While the wealthier residences enjoy the scenic vistas from their chateaus, the poorer residences reside in underground apartments at the base of the hill, which were constructed along the decommissioned sections of Tribus’ subway/tunnel system.
Bluestone
Built along the river at a lower elevation than the other two districts, Bluestone is named after the Bluestone Quarry, situated in close proximity to the Old Jacobs House. Tranquil during the day and eerie at night, Bluestone attracts a rather peculiar crowd of people, including the type of people who find cemeteries to be romantic.
Copper Trail
Copper Trail is centered around Lucas Switt’s first estate. Many of the larger buildings within Copper Trail were influenced by the Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style, which is not uncommon in Upstate New York. The hillscape of Copper Trail is significantly more lush than Ivory Park, making it more appealing for new residences (also the housing in Copper Trail is much cheaper).

I do not have an estimated time for releasing this world. Between my OCD and the anticipated explosion of routing errors, I'd give myself at least another year. In addition, I have not yet furnished all of the buildings and have not written any descriptions for the lots. When this world is finished, if it ever gets finished, I will upload it to MediaFire.
I also enjoy the stories you give each sim in your worlds. They are so wicked! I love them.
Looking wonderful so far. Love the detail you’re putting into this
Let’s keep in touch on Answers HQ until the new EA forums are launched in July!
