Having issues putting a picture under my signature

Hello! I am not sure where to post this, really just need some help here. I followed the instructions on how to put a picture in with your signature. However it doesn't work, just shows a url to the picture. (But I do not want that.) Can someone help me or direct me to a video tutorial? Feeling stupid here and a bit annoyed, been at this for awhile.
