-Remove all NPCs, every NPC(Cops, Firefighters, Repairman, etc) should be Sims from the community, instead of people who appear out of nowhere.
-The option to manage the city in an indirect manner based on the jobs of all the Sims in the town. For example a lot of criminals with few police officers would cause a much higher crime rate than normal. Fewer firefighters means longer response time when you call them.
I'd like to see that as an option, like Story Progression, because I know a lot of people really don't want to deal with a more complex game.
-A calendar with customizable events. I want to be able to decide the duration, the dress and what goes on. Is it a 10+ day build up to a 1 day celebration, a 2 hour event in the park or a 7 day celebration? Do the Sims dress up in goofy outfits, formal wear or maybe even a specific outfit. Do the Sims decorate the town? Etc.
-More meaningful lives. That's probably not the right term, but I'm tired of Sims either having really short lives that seem to end before you can do anything or really long lives that allows them to max out every skill and move into a mansion. Most of the people I know are good at a couple things but very few of them are musical geniuses, mechanical whizzes and expert chefs.

you would pick your seasons like in sims 2 but add holidays from a list into those holidays and you would get a notice like a birthday to tell you to get ready for the holiday...
example: add holloween to fall and have all the kids from the neighborhood go trick or treating..

The best build mode update ever would be the ability to build 1 1\2 foot walls. Each square is 3 feet. (half square) And they should also have some method to curved walls and windows as well, rather than building diagonal walls.

I also wish there were a story mode on the game again. It was fun making up
stories for my sims and makes the game more entertaining. There should be like a scrapbook feature or something. Maybe something like a family scrapbook for each sim in the family.

I was really looking forward to the beach feature but you can't
do anything fun at the beach. They need to make swimming, tanning, playing, sandcastle building, bbqing, volleyball, etc.
Forget remakes of the Sims 2. This is the Sims 3. I'd like to see something different in expansion packs.
I'd like to see EA combine elements of a Sims 2 EP with an original idea in a TS3 expansion pack, as for example, creating an urban setting with nightclubs, restaurants, bowling alleys, etc. Kind of like Nightlife, but more like the Urban Burbz. You could make this into a seperate downloadable town like Riverview.
I'd also like the option to have my Sims move from one town to the next, and to have them been able to communicate with their Sims via cellphone and computer.
It would be nice if they could do it with foreign Sims. I don't understand why they can't chat with them on the computer. I mean come on, it's the world wide web, people.
Bring back e-mail. Install an MMORPG such as Pimp Viking, where your Sims could get socials just by playing the game with other Sims. All you would see is the names of random playes on the screen. Your Sim could gain socials with the Sims they already know. And make connections with new Sims.
Last but not least...get rid of the stinkin' car pool once my Sim buys a car. Just have them use the cellphone to stop the carpool from coming. How hard can that be?

This could be lost in varius ways such as in the dirt while farming down the drain etc. and then you would have opertunities to get it back
Jeweler-The jeweler would allow you to craft 1,2,3,4, or 5 stone rings and 1,2, or 3 stone necklaces which would have varing costs depending on the cuts of stones and how many stones you use . try to picture CAS for jewelry
these would make more sense in the Expansion pack format i had them in but oh well
Its been awhile since I last saw this thread. Its nice to hear from you again. There are a lot of things I would like them to do with the Sims 3 right now, but one thing above all others. Fix "Create A World Beta!" The thing would be much easier to use, and better if it didn't have all of its glitches right now, and they are some serious bugs. Its slow, it lags like sloth, especially when in the "Edit in Game" Mode. But its not that my map is overstocked with stuff, because what I've finished of it so far, works just fine in the normal game. But that's the least of my problems, when in "Edit in Game" Mode, I'm hardly ever able to save it correctly as of late. Things like store objects should make no difference, but they do.
Could you please make a suggestion to EA to start working on a patch to fix these major Create A World bugs? At the very least it would make the software a whole lot more user friendly and encourage more people to use it to create high quality maps for the Sims3. If they fixed it, it would also be a nice boost to EA's reputation.

Responsable- Your sims won't have as many accidents or start as mant fires as normal!
Money Maker- makes money 1.5% faster!
Poor- makes money 1.5% slower!
Necterholic- gets good moodlets when drinking nectar!!!
Slow metabolism- gets fatter easier.
