Thankyou very much for using my art!
I've recreated this house from Sunlit Tides a while back, but now that Island Living is out, I thought I could share it with you here because it fits perfectly into Sulani.
This is the original house from Sunlit Tides:
This is my recreated version in TS4:
The house under the gallery link looks a tad bit different, simply because I had to change a few things because the lot in Sulani wasn't that big for things like the stairs or parking spot to fit in. I'm going to put the new version onto the gallery as fast as I can.
The Sims 4 version of the home from Sunlit Tides is very nice! @Huiiie_07 It suits Sulani very well! The back deck over the water is very nice for Sims to rest on the loungers and look out at the ocean views. Very nice open plan living areas layout. The patterned floor rug adds a very nice look to the sofa sitting area.
It is a very nice island beach home
Just finished a room for @fuzgirl65's June challenge to make a luxury bedroom. I decided to make a luxury suite for a sim vacationing in Sulani, so it's Sulani (Hawaiian) themed. Credit and thanks to @tiya33 for hula pics, to NaJoPau for the hawaiian pattern pics and to @Mandykay77 for the Sulani photos in the bathroom. And a big thank you to @Gwiniel for the help on hanging the cabinets backwards!
Very lovely luxury suite for Sulani! @lsnishi The design, layout and furnishing of each area of the room is very nice! Very nice calming brown and white colour scheme of the room! The bed nook is very nice! The patterned wall art looks great on the bedhead and side walls! The candles are calming touches on the bedside tables and the dining table with chairs. The patterned floor rugs add a special look to the room. Very nice refreshments area! Sims will enjoy making a drink from the tea brewer or coffee machine and having it at the table. Very nice bar area! The new pack wall decor , combined with the drinks shelves, look great on the wall! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar. The sofa seat tv watching area is very nice! Very nice design of the tv wall! Sims will enjoy having a drink from the drinks tray, and fruit from the bowl as they are sitting there watching tv. Very nice windows study desk area for Sims to enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer, or reading a book with sunshine coming in to the room onto them. Very nice bathroom! The beach themed wall art on the bathtub wall looks great!
It is a lovely bedroom suite!
Industrial Curve is a very nice modern industrial home! @luckyheather The exterior design, curved glass roofing and brick textured walls with greenery on them are very nice! Very nice balcony areas for Sims to relax on the loungers in the outdoors air or have fun playing chess. The enclosed sitting area on the ground floor level with the loungers is great for a rainy day. Very nice furnishing and layout of each of the levels! It is great that there are two basement levels and an indoors pool!
It is a very nice industrial home!
@Huiiie_07 your Sunlit Tides home will fit perfect in the new Island Living pack, very beautiful and creative! @lsnishi your luxury bedroom is so beautiful, I love how you have done the wall behind the bed, super cute! @luckyheather your Industrial Curve is lovely, I love the brick you used and the landscaping is awesome!
Affectionately named the "Crown Palace Motel". This takes the place of the 8 Bells bar in Strangerville and is a working restaurant.
More info and pics in the spoiler!!!
The Crown Palace had once been a social center for the town. It was a good local place with good food at good prices, cheap bar drinks, and for travelers passing through, cheap yet cozy accommodations. Plus free breakfast with a night's stay! Thanks to its location, it never failed to attract locals and travelers looking for a quick night's stay, so business was always steady. It was especially important when it came to out of towners, since the main street connected directly to a highway towards Del Sol Valley. There were little tourist traps to be found, so the motel was a vital piece of economy for the town. Plus the atmosphere was always warm and inviting. It was THE place to meet friends or meet new ones, eat the popular Royally Strange Burger while listening to stories from the military personnel that frequented it, or catch up on the latest gossip while listening to someone out front play a guitar. However, times had a way with changing.
For over 75 years The Crown enjoyed its business and popularity. But within the last 2 decades it had begun its sink into decline. It was a variety of things. A new interstate highway opened up which led to shorter driving times, leaving the main street forgotten or unknown by tourists. The town's economy was weak, and no new businesses had opened and ran successfully in years. New businesses quickly went under, while old established ones failed to thrive beyond the town and only barely stayed open thanks to the support of faithful customers. Despite the older generations content to live the rest of their lives in the town, their kids looked to places like San Myshuno or Del Sol Valley, where they could find opportunities not found at home. Fewer and fewer families moved into the town.
The place that was once called the "Crown Jewel of Strangerville" was completely derelict and rundown. It was no longer surrounded by friendly faces, but rather unsavory, suspicious folks. All sorts of shady doings occurred inside and around the building. It was a sad sight to the locals who remembered its heyday. Some believed that it wouldnt be long until the Crown would be demolished and be turned into a parking lot. While others held out hope that there was a chance for it to make its "royal return", and with that, a chance to revitalize the town.
The Crown Palace is a very creatively designed restaurant! @InuMiroLover It was great reading the background details of the build! It is sad to read of its decline! You have reflected its current condition so very well in the build! The old brick texture, street art and dead bracken on exterior walls, and the rips, tears, old bedroom wallpaper , stains and torn parts of the interior walls gives a great look and feel to the venue! The dirty and messy bedrooms don’t look very nice to sleep in! The posters, wall decor , wall piping, pictures and bar signs in the bar area look great!
It is a great run down restaurant, bar and motel venue!
I finally made a sim to play the new Sulani world! The sim is named Kainoa (named after the ocean) and his poi dog (what we call mixed breed dogs in Hawaii) Makana (whose name means "gift"). Kainoa grew up in Hawaii and spent his youth fishing, surfing, paddling and sailing and is now a superb waterman (level 10 fitness, fishing and level 5 pet training). All his life Kainoa has heard about the mermaids in Sulani, so he and Makana have moved to Sulani to discover the truth!

Your Ava Bekker sim has such an amazing resemblance to the real life actress! Great job of recreating her in sim form!
And @luckyheather, your industrial curve is a very creatively done modern build! Love that curved deck!

thank you!
thank you @BreeMiles I tried my best to look just like the catalog. The Clyde is pretty popular floor plan in the NorthEast of the U.S. back in 1910s.

That's awesome. I love lots that are made to look urban and poor. (Funny enough, they often end up being expensive).
