Anyone who is playing Island Living now, when you invite another sim who's not from the same household to a beach lot or the Sand Bar, is the invited sim disappearing or leaving the lot? This seems to be happening to me every time I invite a sim to Sulani.
Does anyone know if there is a mod available that would allow us to own a 'vacation home' in this world? Would love having one to visit when I get to the island. Not sure if I want to live there permanently.

@bluzkat65 I use LittleMsSam’s More Buyable Venues and new Venue Types mod. There’s an option to create a holiday home. I use it for second homes for my sims.

I gave this house a teeeeeny tiny, not totally thought-through makeover for the past hour or so, and am now going to decide on what to do next. xD

Sorry guys. Although rental type lots can be placed in Sulani, there doesn't seem to be a way to access them like you would a vacation world.

You can. Retail shops should work just fine. It's vacation rental lots that don't.
