I'm sure this is old news, but I just found out that if you drag an item from a Sims inventory to the face icon of another Sim in your household it goes on to the other Sims inventory. I always thought you had to place stuff in the world and have the other SIM it up, or gift it to the other SIM to transfer items between their inventories LOL

You can assign Lot Traits to your Sims' home lot, to give gaining certain skills a boost, there! Not sure I care for the "lightbulbs and plusses" animation, but Lot Traits in general are new to me!
I didn't know Willow Creek could get heatwaves. The first few months after Seasons came out, it was raining there all the time, even in summer, which caused me to stop playing there because I wanted to experience other types of weather too. But recently there have been more and more sunny days.
If you don't think your sim is learning a Sulani food recipe, buy the fire pit with leaves from Island Living. You'll be able to cook those meals then! It took me three sim-days to figure that out.

I know it was very depressing. I rained all the time I quit playing it also. Wen I did play it I got the weather machie and chaged to weather to hot or heatwave lol. We are going through our rainy season and it is raining every day so don't want it in the game also.
I didn't know that there is tragic clown in ts4 because I never placed the painting and now I feel dumb
Wait..what??
is anyone gonna care to explain the tragic clown or??
Tragic clown is npc from TS1 Makin' Magic that would go around making sims sad/depressed
in TS4 there is a painting of the clown if you view it (i think i viewed it x2 tho)
tragic clown spawns on your lot to talk to your sims and make your sims sad
not sure if this is the right place but does anyone know if a sim that dies of old age can be resurrected by any means?
Would ambrosia work? I haven't tried it on an old sim/at all. The wishing well from romantic garden stuff may also work. Otherwise, mods such as MCCC can do it
@NightPhoenixV Yes, sims who died of old age can be resurrected, and yes, ambrosia works. I found that out by chance when I accidentally enabled aging for the entire world rather than just the played household, and one of my elders died offscreen. I brought him back by summoning his ghost with his book of life (which won't work, however, if you haven't bound the sim to one before they died), asking him to move in and then having him eat ambrosia (requires Gourmet Cooking level 10 to make).
Some sources claim that having a sim read their own book of life should be enough to revive them, but in my experience, it only filled the sim's needs - then again, he didn't actually finish reading it, so that might be the reason. If you're going for the wishing well, make sure the stone face is smiling or else your wish could backfire horribly. But even then, you're not guaranteed to get exactly what you wanted, so it's always best to save your game before making a wish.

Thanks a lot this is really important to my challenge.

I'm unable to test it myself currently but thats for the suggestion. My sims rarely die so i dont experiment with resurrection very often.
Ok so I'm playing my game. I thought it was a glitch or a bug and reported it as such. However the nanny not leaving once your sim returns home it's not a glitch or a bug. You have to dismiss her in order for her to leave. 🤦♀️ I thought it was a bug. Go figure

@Lithilien Yep! Very useful for summoning ghosts and fulfilling needs, but your sim must complete the Bestselling Author aspiration in order to gain the ability to write it, then bind it to another sim while they're still alive. You can make copies of a book of life before binding it and then bind the copies to other people, so you don't have to write one for every single sim. The authors cannot bind the books to themselves, however.

Wow that's awesome! I have never done it yet! I try to let my Sims go and haven't wanted to revive them yet. Good to know we can just make copies before binding ^_^
Child of the Sea trait: Your sims will feel sad when they catch/eat fish. I kind of find that annoying. I had my sim with that trait and was getting tired of him being sad over catching fish- he worked as a fisherman for cryin' out loud- so I changed that to Loves the Outdoors. He has since retired and his son is now a lifeguard(which was another job my sim had had to make extra money). My female sim had the same jobs, but at different hours than her husband. Both have since retired from their careers and their kids are working now.

Yes! And before I discovered Growfruit, I used to harvest trash fruit from the trash plants and use it as fertilizer in my garden.
*laziness intensifies*
Also vampire/alien/etc urns don't look different, as the guy who died was a vampire 🤔

Wait..what??
Judging from the body language all their jokes are extremely silly. And probably rather raunchy.

I don't use MCCC.
