Why do children get all the cool glasses?

Glasses for child sims FAR surpass glasses for adult sims. Why can't adults have wayfarer, large half-rimmed, etc? The existing adult glasses are so disappointing. I need HUGE realistic glasses. Something like the wayfarer sunglasses (but without shades), or those BEAUTIFUL Seasons tortoiseshell sunglasses for female sims (again, without shades--and unisex). I don't like to play with CC, so that's not a solution.

Man, I never knew for somebody glasses are really that important, but now when I look at them, yeah, they sure need some new pairs of glasses.

I mean, I guess it would be hard to see without them.

The large frame glasses seem to be out of fashion at the moment. I keep looking for them at the opticians and they all seem narrow in depth or without frames. I've got some huge frames from years ago which look very oldfashioned now.

Same. I can't see my life without them.

EDIT: Bilmo beat me to it. Plum.

I love glasses too! :) In real life, I could get contacts but I like wearing glasses. I feel they add character . And it makes sims seem more artsy and mysterious too <3
