Hello! I play essentially vanilla, aside from default skin and eye color replacements. Those are the only CC items I have installed and I've honestly been fine without CC or mods up until this point. And I still am! However, I didn't even realize that townies and pre-mades were not... progressing!

I loved that about whichever previous game allowed story progression for unplayed households and homeless Sims, and would love for that to continue. Marriages, children, promotions, etc.

Is MCCC my best option for this? I don't know anything about TS4 mods but I've heard you can use this mod for that reason. I don't want (as of now) to do anything else to my game, and I assume I don't have to use anything from this mod that I don't want to use.

Can anyone give me any guidance or advice on the best way to go about this? Or tips you've discovered? I'm kind of intimidated to even install it because I literally know nothing about it except what I've tried to understand from the website.
