Morgan's Inferno, or My Personal Hell: A 100 Baby Challenge

Following the official rules that you can find right over here, I've decided to begin a 100 Baby Challenge with the one and only Morgan Fyres as the matriarch. Because I obviously haven't done her genetics to death already.

Really, I just want to see how long I can go without completely losing my mind. Which probably won't be very long, if I'm completely honest

The children will be named in alphabetical order, taking their father's surname so I don't get confused. And... I think that's about it!

Yay great first chapter! I love that she kissed Vlad on the nose lol. Jonah is so hot! You’ve reminded me how attractive your male sims all are. I may start stealing some of them for my 100 Baby Challenge

I can already tell Amy is going to be pretty! Ohh when Bastian becomes toddler you’ll have to tell us whether he has the ‘Father Winter’s Baby’ trait.

I read your latest update earlier but then I had to pack and come home from uni so I didn’t get time to type out a full response until now.

Omg you’re using Finnegan! You were right he is attractive. I should probably use him more in my games... Look forward to seeing what his and Morgan’s child/ren look like.

It’s sad that Bastian didn’t get the Father Winter’s Baby trait but I think it has to do with mccc (which I think you have?) for some reason, whenever my sim has a baby with Father Winter and I have mccc installed, the kid doesn’t get the trait. But if I uninstall mccc, they get the trait! I did a lot of experimenting around this. It’s weird but I don’t think the trait does much anyway.

Love how you’re actually working on the skills and grades so you can age them up faster. I think I’m going to end up neglecting Vlad’s kids too much to do that haha

I do use MCCC and I figured that that was the reason Bastian didn't get the trait.
Well, what else do you do with toddlers other than yell at them for being annoying? This is only the early stages so it may or may not turn into neglect later on *cough* But I am a very good sim parent. For now at least

I love how they are all suffering so bad (does that sound awful?) and omg Basilton made an appearance! Also Errol! Brought back major Harry Potter nostalgia for me.

@MaggieMarley I have Finnegan, Basilton and Yosef all living in a household together. Yosef also showed up but I caught him only after he was leaving (he was standing at the door without being let in)

How could I forget that Errol is the name of the Weasley family's owl in HP?

I chose the name from a first name dictionary (fun fact - most of my sims have been named from that dictionary)

I'm glad you found the chapter funny but I was getting seriously frustrated while playing and seriously needed to take a break... especially after that "Vladislaus is sleeping"

Ahhh Yosef! I swear you actually play with those boys more than I do (well, seeing as I’ve never played with them that’s not difficult!) I hate it when the game says that about vampires too - maybe Vlad just didn’t want to break cover? I think it’s a lot easier when your matriarch (or in my case patriarch) is a vampire. Perhaps Morgan should consider a change of life state...

@MaggieMarley nah, I think this can be the one save (apart from the BOTU) I play where I don't turn Morgan into a vampire for once

Besides, I want to follow the original set of rules that don't involve occults. And I know I'm making it so much harder on myself by doing so. So when I give up on finishing the challenge you'll know the reason

Maybe after I finish this one I'll do a vampire one with the vampire specific set of rules. We'll see

Yassssssss Bradley!! Oh now you’ve got me wondering what Vlad and Ramona’s kids would look like - Ima have to make that happen. I hate the monster under the bed thing. I have had that disabled with mccc for so long I forgot it was a thing. I suppose that is cheating in this challenge but there is no way in hell I am switching it back on! How on earth are you managing to get all toddler skills to level 3? Mine are always passed out or on the brink of starvation so it’s hard to get them to learn skills. I thought I was doing well just keeping them alive

@MaggieMarley haha I just had to add Bradley to the save. Donald Belle is in the save too, but he hasn't made an appearance yet

I just leave the toddlers in a room with the wabbit tablet and force them to play the games haha. Then have food in the fridge, drag it onto the floor when they get hungry and tell them to take a serving, and voila! No dumb highchair autonomy and a fed toddler.
Claire was raising her thinking skill while extremely exhausted (that's why she was angry), and it stuck when she aged up, but then she wouldn't sleep because of the monster. Cue the passing out.
But she actually did better than her older siblings with learning her skills - both Amy and Bastian aged up with one day to go until they aged up naturally, but Claire had two days until her birthday. Maybe I was subconsciously pushing her harder because I didn't want her to be a toddler anymore

@afai1261 I’m doing something similar with my toddlers (they are locked in a dungeon with popcorn machines - popcorn because it never spoils and toddlers will just grab a helping autonomously rather than starve) but I guess I’m just not great at making them work on their skills. Tbh I am almost completely ignoring them so I shouldn’t complain their skills are crap

Amy is beautiful! I’ve been playing mainly ugly sims for so long that it’s nice to see lots of pretty sims in yours.

And I’d forgotten about Wolfgang. Might have to use him at some point myself.

It’s weird that Errol isn’t Ava,life. I thought that whenever the purple bat appeared at birth the child would be a vampire. Maybe it’s a glitch?

@MaggieMarley when I realised that the next two kids were the F & G babies, I resolved to name them some variant of Fred and George if they were twins. And then they were and I was very happy.
But then I got to thinking about the names all of the other kids could have had if I actually had a Harry Potter naming theme... oh well, the next generation's (if I ever get there) naming theme will be scientific/medical terms taken from the index of a medical textbook

Yeah, Claire definitely hates me A LOT...

@madelynsims95 Thank you! I'm really happy with how Amy aged up. I'm terrible at making female sims so I have to rely on my male sims to look good as female and make pretty daughters

And Amy's father Jonah delivered on that front. I already know what Claire will look like as well - she's quite beautiful too, even though she's a female clone of her father Brandon
