Hello Rosemow (and whomever reads this)!

I'm not sure what I want to say about myself off the bat. I have an odd sense of humour. I have a childish imagination, while reportedly being very serious about certain things. I'm interested in baking, instruments, video games, electronics, horror/fantasy writing, and illustration. I'm not the talkative type, but I thought I'd give this forum a shot so that I can share my Sims game-play, builds, and whichever else comes to mind.

    Pleased to be here!

Wow you sound a lot like me! :D Welcome!
I play on PS4! Otaku here! From the lands of Canada 🇨🇦
Haha, you clicked, now you have to read all my Sword Art Online fan fiction!

Hey everyone! My first post was back in 2016 but I actually intend on being active now.

I’m Yuri. I’m currently in high school, so I’m definitely a younger simmer.
I watch Law & Order SVU (currently on Season 17).
Other games I play are Roblox, Minecraft, Diablo III, Cuphead, and TS1/2. I mostly play The Sims 3.

I enjoy researching court cases and making blueprints for houses as a hobby.

I crack a lot of jokes, but tend to mutter and fumble a lot while speaking— so I’m pretty quiet outside of a humorous setting.

I used to draw and write a lot, but lost the passion for those hobbies as I got older. I still draw time to time.

I love cats. Especially my 12 year old kitty. 🐱

My simsself’s traits are (see my avatar)

    - Socially Awkward
    - Cat Person
    - Absent Minded
    - Computer Whiz
    - Night Owl

My lifetime goal, both in the sims and IRL—is either to become a politician or detective. Not sure yet.

April 8, 2015 is when I came out of that smelly old closet... 🚶‍♂️🚪

Hello @Thunderpie69 :) It is nice to meet you.
I hope that your school studies are going well. You would enjoy simming as a break from your schoolwork.
It is nice that you have kitten <3 Your kitten would be a special animal member of your real life household. If you own the Sims 3 Pets pack you would be enjoying having a simversion of your cat as a part of the sims households :)
I hope you reach your career goal.
    Happy simming! :)

Thanks so much @rosemow ! I love playing The Sims so much growing up, it was a massive staple of my childhood and I've just grown to love it, it's definitely one of my favourite games and will continue you to be, I love how diverse and experimental you can be with the game play
I'm gonna start exploring the forums now and hopefully I can join in some discussions

Hi there, I'm Megan. I'm an Aquarius. Although I feel nervous and excited to finally be able to talk and interact with other Sims players, I think its comforting and stimulating to see so many forums and active members. I have so much to learn but I hope this site can be a great place for me to make friends and talk about things that we love/excite us. I used to play Sims Freeplay till I stopped a few years ago, excited to fianlly play 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘚𝘐𝘔𝘚.

    Hello fellow simmers!

I started playing the sims at two different times actually. The first time was when I was about 7 years old and my cousin had a "virtual dollhouse" game and we spent hours designing our dream families and houses on the Sims 1. I had no idea that this game was actually the Sims until much later.

Then I got reintroduced to the Sims in 2011 with the Sims 3. It was my absolute favorite game to play. Sadly, the computer I played it on crapped out way too early and I wasn't able to play it as much as I would have liked :(. I only have the base game (I borrowed all the EP from friends but we have gone our separate ways, that's University Life I guess. I still play the base sometimes but I love getting to know Sims 4, I've had it since Christmas and now have the Cats and Dogs and Seasons EPs. I still don't have the best computer to play it on but I get by.

Hi, I'm Kat! I've been playing the Sims 4 for for a while now and I played Sims 2 and 3 before that. I'm not really sure why I never joined the forums before (just been a lurker with no account lol) but I'm excited to be a more involved member in the community now that I'm here.

Also, I have some legacy and challenge ideas that I'd love to share with everyone once I earn my full member status!

Hiyaa! My name is Nikki. I'm from Canada (the Maritimes) and I've been playing the sims for (wow) 19 years. I grew up with this game and although the current instalment has its fair share of issues, I still enjoy building and playing around with it. When I'm not glued to my computer, I'm an archaeologist. I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts/ideas here with all of you and also looking forward to getting to know some of you as well!

    Hi!
Im new on the forum and still kind of new with the sims 4.

I used to love sims 1, started playing when they started to sell it in my country (Finland) got all the expansions and played it all the time and then when sims 2 came out, same with that. Stoped playing when sims 3 came out (because age, studies etc.) and last year came back for sims 4. Love the game series, but still exploring the possibilities and learning the tricks with sims 4.

Most of my friends dont play Sims so i decided to look for other fans so i can chat about sims and stay up to date on everything. English is not my first language, and i am pretty insecure to write it. There may be translation errors and spelling mistakes in my posts, sorry for that!

It is great that you have joined the simming forums community and started posting on threads. Please don’t be worried about making mistakes when writing! Hi everyone!

I’m that one person who can’t seem to stop being endlessly crazy or sadistic with their simming. I have an interesting in trying to write up some stories, but I’m not sure exactly where that will take me! I started getting into the franchise when a very generous associate of mine donated to me every Sims 2 expansion except for Freetime. It was amazing, but I wasn’t exactly great at it. K mainly messed around, doing crazy things like getting an alien baby and then having their bed taken by the repo man because I couldn’t get the bills because I locked the door to stop anyone getting killed by lightning, and because I played in walls down mode, I never realised until it was too late. I was rather prone to cheating and also making my sims as ridiculous as possible.

Now I’m getting back into it, I have Sims 3 and most expansions (all except Island Paradise, University and Into the Future), as well as Sims 2 and every expansion there (not every stuff pack though and I still need to install them all on my new computer), and Sims 4 base game since it was free and I’m not insane enough to pass up that opportunity. As you might guess, I’m most used to three. I’m not a great sims designer or writer or player or anything, but I hope to mess around, have some fun, and maybe get a story going because I do enjoy writing that stuff up.

    So, yeah! That’s me.

It is very nice that you started simming when you were kindly gifted Sims 2 and nearly all the packs. It was a very special gift that started you as a simmer, and has led to many fun and enjoyable hours spent simming since! :) Simming doesn’t mean that you have to be great or not great at playing or creating or writing. It is an enjoyable game to play and have fun however we play! The main thing is to enjoy playing the game!
    Happy simming! :)
