@loubyloulou, I'm looking for a mod that adds personality and gameplay, but I'm pretty selective about what I put in my game.
This mod has some interesting things like, turn-ons/turn offs and talents.
So I basically just want to hear if you think it's a fun addition.
@Susim62 - I guess you've read all about what the mod does on the modder's blog? I am enjoying it overall but there are some things that I don't like. Illness is much more frequent than I like - every few days my Sims seem to get sick and you either have to wait it out (the buffs last three days) or install her Explore mod and have your Sim get 'cured' at the hospital, so I'm thinking of removing that part of the mod, which is easy to do. I like the new emotional buffs but I'm not keen on the blush overlay that gets added when Sims are embarrassed, so I think I'll probably remove that file too. Sims also get drunk too quickly - it only usually takes one drink, which is unrealistic. I like the talents but sometimes they don't fit the personality of the Sim - luckily you can change that in the settings. And the turn-ons/offs are a good idea too, but also sometimes not logical, for example I have a Sim who loves cats and her turn-off was Sims who love animals - that makes no sense. Again, you can change this in the settings. My advice is to have a go with it for a while and see if it adds anything to your gameplay. BTW, the site is full of ads and adfly so take care when downloading.
@loubyloulou also, how the sickness system works? What does it do to the game? I'm looking for a sickness mod, to make it more frequent, but not ridiculously frequent
@telmarina, to quote from the modder's site re. illness in this mod:
Sickness System
This system adds on to the "get to work" sicknesses. Your sims will be able to get a toothache, the Flu, Stomach aches, Allergies, Colds, Two Woohoo diseases (non-deadly), and ear infections. If you have get to work these will show animation symptoms. I have also added buffs to make you more aware of "hidden motives" like thirst, comfort, hand hygiene, and oral hygiene.
How to cure sicknesses?
There's a 60% chance that doing a home remedy or taking medicine will cure you. However certain illnesses will require time regardless. You can remove it also go to the doctor using the explore mod.
How to prevent illnesses?
Some can’t completely be prevented (example: allergies) but if you have good hygiene, keep your hands clean, eat in clean places, stay away from sick sims, etc...you should be fine and if a sim around you has the flu then keep good hygiene and stay away from them to prevent getting it.
I think the illnesses happen too often (every 2-3 Sim days) so am probably going to remove this part of the mod, but that may be what you're looking for?
Thanks @loubyloulou. I've read it all about the mod and was looking for a real gamer advice. Thanks for that. 2-3 days seems like a lot...
What about the memory system? How is it in the actual game?
Thanks @loubyloulou. I've read it all about the mod and was looking for a real gamer advice. Thanks for that. 2-3 days seems like a lot...
What about the memory system? How is it in the actual game?
As far as I can see, the memory system is buffs that appear after life events - the buffs last about a Sim day. They're not stored anywhere to look back on as they were in TS3.

Sims also get drunk too quickly - it only usually takes one drink, which is unrealistic.
I know there's another mod that works a little more realistically on this end but we can't discuss it on this forum. There's a version of it for just alcohol, but some of it's other features may technically break the rule, so I don't know.
I found a realistic mod a little bit ago. It's a mod by KawaiiStacie that lets you plan dates (and other events that I can't remember at the moment) ahead of time on the Calendar. I believe it's called "Plan More Events" or something like that.
I hope it's okay that I post some of my own realistic mods here:
Siblingcaretweaks - Teens and kids will gain character values when performing certain interactions with their younger siblings (mainly babys). Based on character and a good deal of randomness, Sims will now get positve or negative moodlets from interacting with a baby. http://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/sonstige-mods/
whimoverhaul - an overhaul of the EA whim system which enhances the chances for family based whims and tunes down whims to buy new stuff. Teens, Elders and pregnant Sims have special whims. http://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/sonstige-mods/
autoweddingring - Sims will autonomously receive wedding rings after marriage (or vow renewal). Female sims will autonomously receive engagement rings. http://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/sonstige-mods/
moreaskwhathappened - Sims will be able to ask other Sims what happend after some events (like cheating, divorce, negative pregnancy test ...). http://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/sonstige-mods/
highchairtweak - Sims will only choose to autonomously put a toddler out of the highchair if the toddler already has the hidden 'left behind in highchair' buff. This should make it easier for your toddler to finish their meal before they are taken out by the next fool. http://www.deichschafblog.de/s4/sonstige-mods/
I have a kinda love-hate relationship with the Grim Reaper. He belongs to this game and I would never want the sims team to get rid of him because of nostalgia, but I don't like him in my own game because I try to play realistic as possible.
This mod is reaally well done. It makes deaths more realistic and you are even able to throw funerals!

Does the Kawaiistacie mod Slice Of Life violate the teen rating?
I ask because I was trying to find some information/reviews in this forum but there is little to be found.

Not that I can see. I use that mod, too.
The only one part that I think would violate is the "self woohoo" portion of it. Other than that I don't believe so.
Hello! Is there a mod that allows sims relationships to be individual? For example, my sim has 70 friendship with a sim "X", but that sim "X" has a 10 friendship with my sim. Exists something like this?

Many thanks for the feedback! Cheers

There are a few aspects of the mod that I'm not keen on, so I'll just keep the ones I do want
Thank you so much for this - I've been looking for a better/more varied whims mod for ages!

As you can see, Sacrificial combined the stand microphone with the karaoke machine from City Life to create a way for your singer to hold a concert:
Yes, you'll either have to create your own venues or search the Gallery under #RTF.
