It was hard for me to choose between TS2 and TS3. When it really comes down to it, I think I've spent more time with TS3 over the years because I love the open world and customization, so that's my favorite. TS2 is a super close runner up though.

TS2. It was great for its time, and it still holds up today. It was a huge leap from its predecessor, and the balancing is better because in TS1, it's way too hard to maintain your sims' needs and relationships.

I also love how time and relationship decay are frozen when you're on a community lot in TS2. It really gives you time to focus on dates and businesses. I hate how you have to juggle between sims in TS3, and how sims not joining you on community lots in TS4 have limited offscreen activities to choose from, often wasting their time.

I like certain aspects of each Sims game, but TS2 still wins for me

A couple of years ago I'd have said 3, but now I have to say 4.

A lot of people hate on TS4 but I think it's amazing. The game has come so far and I'm a-okay with where the game is.

That was super hard. But I go with 4. Sims 1 will always be in my heart. But, well, quality is way beyond. I never played much sims 2. I think this one caught me a bit after uni years, when I was getting my first job... I was very busy. Sims 3 was a great surprise, with the open world. It ended as super complete game, but it was hard to keep it running smoothly in the pc. I've ended up either forgetting for years or being super frustrated. Sims 4 is the one giving me a lot of enjoyment again. It brought me back to the sims world and it's not disappointing me.

I have been playing The Sims since the first game and enjoyed each one since. Every game has brought something different and has it's good points. TS2 has to be my favourite though. I think it was the best for it's time and I have such fond memories of playing it as a child. If the graphics were better, I would probably still be playing it now. It took me a little to move to TS3 and adjust to the change, but I loved how TS3 combined both 'realistic' and supernatural play. Now I'm hooked on TS4 and I really feel it has potential to become my favourite as it expands.
