It's easy to get a bit of an inferiority complex sometimes. I get it when I see those fantastic builds that I couldn't possibly do and haven't got the patience to build either but I still carry on regardless and build my own.
There's no wrong way to play this game so just ignore them. They may not even play Sims 4 and keep comparing it with Sims 3.
