I Would Love a Bridal/Wedding Stuff Pack!

Weddings in the Sims 4 are dubious at best. Most of the time, if you're really lucky, the invited guests will arrive. Sometimes, even the hired help arrives. Upon occasion the mixologist will actually perform their function at said wedding.

Rarely, if ever, will the guests take a seat and watch the ceremony, even when seating has been amply supplied.

We have very few wedding dress styles from which to choose. I would love to see this amended by a Wedding Stuff Pack, chock full of flowers table decorations and all the things that go into a beautiful wedding and reception.

Please, and thank you, in advance. I know I've left off numerous items, please add to the list, if you will.

Yes! I always have just the tiered cake. I'm going to attempt to select one of the other 'tiered' cakes available just to see if we can place the wedding topper on them. Should be interesting.

I purchased the Romantic Wedding Set for Sims3 and I loved it. This is something I'd like to see again, with the Sims4 twist on it, of course.

I'm with you. I've been wanting a romance pack for a while now to give the romance system as the whole, including weddings, some much development. Specifically for weddings though, I would love to see more CAS options including veils and actual wedding rings (and esp. more options for male sims), asking for parent's blessing before proposing, changing surnames, hen/stag parties before ceremony, perhaps even the traditional of something old / new / borrowed / blue, walking down the aisle and being 'given away' by another sim, sims sitting down to watch the ceremony and romantic sims and parents crying, guests giving wedding gifts, maid of honour / best man option, funny (and boring) speeches and sims reactions, first dance and slow dancing, carrying the bride (or groom) over the threshold, honeymoons etc. Just cute little things like that.

YESSSSS. I'd love more options for new bridal dresses and why we dont have veils makes zero sense to me. And for goodness sake I'd love it if guests would actually sit down to watch the ceremony instead of just crowding the bartender. The last wedding I had I decided there couldnt be a bartender around since Sims apparently want to drink more than watch the happy couple. I didnt invite guests to just drink! And Id love it if I could have a sim walk down the aisle towards their beloved with a bouquet and are being given away by another sim! And speaking of bouquets, maybe tossing the bouquet to a group of sims as well?

I love weddings. But my sims rarely have weddings since its basically a struggle to have everything go right! Weddings in the game need more love.

Oh yes, a throwing the bouquet option would be so cute! I can just see my sims squabbling frantically trying to catch it and falling over each other.

Yes, there is just so much that can be done. I witnessed in RL just such a squabbling of the Bride's maids. It was downright vicious. LOL

Between a wedding enhancing pack and an overall "love" overhaul pack they've both been in the Top 5 packs I'd like to to see. I'd really like to become a wedding planner and design different wedding themes and marriage counselor would be fun to bring famous sim couples together or break them up lol.

But a stuffpack would be nice also though, new wedding dresses are totally overdue (along with wedding themes to boot!).

only if there's are options from "poor" wedding (ie: wearing their best dress) to something like Diana Princess of Wales wore. And the more money a family has, the more bridesmaids/flower children/maybe Ring bearers (or other "extravagant" expenses that would have to do with a wedding) they can have.

A wedding stuff pack would be nice, They cluld even at activities for the newlyweds to enjoy! Like after the wedding the bride will theow flowers to the guests and one will catch it.

I love the idea of a celebration/wedding themed pack. Perhaps with that we could have the option of having a first dance. Two sims slow dancing together! A very missed concept. I agree with having various wedding activities added, such as throwing the bouquet. It would also be nice to plan the wedding from all the details, decorations and even be able to pick out a different style ring.

Yes weddings need a major overhaul. I'd like to be able to choose floral arrangements, select what meals/drinks are to be served, choose a maid of honor/best man, choose from different rings, dresses and cakes. Be able to send like save the dates in the mail. Oh and slow dancing needs to return too.

Yes, slow dancing and one added item we've yet to see in any Sims iteration. The Groom should be allowed to carry the Bride over the threshold of their lot.

Ugh, yes please. New arches, new flowers, new hair, dresses, tuxedos, jewelry, all of it. And my mixologist always does their job. It's the entertainment and chef I usually have to worry about. The last wedding event I did, I had the aunt make a cake for her niece, just in case the chef didn't make the cake and surprise, she made everything but. I really hope that's a bug that gets fixed.

The major problem is TS4 is too small if you had a proper size settlement you can have weddings and funrals, they are hiding one of the best wedding park places in the Get to Work expansion pack the only way to get there is to either get pregnant or have a doctor or Detective. Why can't we have access to that huge park that is there that could function as a wedding area and a cementary.

I agree! I can NEVER get my guests to sit and watch the ceremony, the mixologist doesn't do his job and the groom loves to mix his own drinks, if a wedding dinner is included, I can't get the caterers to do their jobs. And oh, no wedding cake! My chef didn't do her job!

What would be awesome is a wedding and honeymoon destination EP or any other type of pack. And wedding invitations is a must! I mean they can go the full monty on this and create an EP. Even bachelor parties and wedding showers. I think a lot of us would love that!

Yes!! An overall Love Stuff Pack would be amazing! There is so much the creators could do with that!

I always have my Sims bake a cake, set the wedding topper in place and then set it up at the wedding venue. I can't figure out when or why it broke, but you are often required to hire mixologists, caterers and an entertainer. My last Event was a Charity Event. The entertainer showed up well after the guest left. The caterer (which turned out to be my Sims' sister-in-law) really didn't cook much, either. And I think the mixologist was in awe of the guests. The host is a Global Superstar, and he comes from money. He also just happens to have some very talented siblings, too. LOL

Yes, a Wedding pack would be a nice addition to the game. Then my Sims can get married by wedding ( too many problems) instead of eloping. I do like that you can now schedule your events, that I believe came with Seasons. So much more easy than having a spur of the moment wedding. Maybe with a maid of honor and bestman ( bestpersons ). Deffinately fix that the guest don't sit down during the ceremony. More choices for CAS. But yes do a pack.

I gave up on actual weddings because your caterer doesn't make a cake. Will make everything but the cake. The Mixologist rarely makes drinks. Guests rarely sit for the ceremony and are more interested in doing anything but sit and watch the ceremony. I have to dress my Sims in CC to have a somewhat decent bridal outfit. I cannot have a person of honour, a Best Man/Woman, bridesmaids, flower person etc. for a decent wedding. No options to have a separate place for a lovely reception. Instead, I just have my sims elope instead. I would love for my Sims to have a beautiful wedding ceremony instead of feeling forced to elope them. Eloping should be a spur of moment option, not our best option.

I'd love to have a wedding stuff pack even though I'm lucky as it seems: my caterer always shows up and prepares cake for the wedding (but that might be due to one or two mods). The dancing guests watching the ceremony are a real nightmare though. I think that bug came with Get Famous or shortly after.
