    I still haven't solved the mystery yet. but I Love this pack. It's definitely in my top 3 of what they have put out for DLC. It "may" even be #1!

    Yep, I enjoyed solving the mystery. It was different and I am now trying a new game with a different approach. I seem to be stuck in StrangerVille, can't pull myself away to go visit other outside places :D

    The story driven aspiration is great. Its a bit too short though.

    (Trying not to spoil)

    My last time through, my three companions just walked out at the start of the end... those who've played it know which one I mean.

    I just sat there yelling, "Where are you going? We're doing something here!!!"

    I am disappointed in StrangerVille. I wish the mystery took a little longer.
    Lots of mixed feelings. Strangerville had me more excited than I've been for a Sims game since TS3! I knew it couldn't be perfect but was really excited to see the Sims branch out into a different type of play. What disappointed me is that once you 'beat' Strangerville, it's very anticlimactic. Like, you just saved the town from a [REDACTED] and there's no mayor to shake your hand, no babies to kiss, no ceremony, no fireworks, nothing. No new socials from townies who practically owe their lives to you. It made me feel like the whole thing was very much just on the surface - which is silly because the whole GP is about that storyline. I did enjoy 'solving' everything, and exploring. The town is beautiful (though it could use, like all TS4 hoods, MORE...), the sims are freaky, the plants look cool, and I like the storyline overall. Just felt like they didn't think past 'winning'. Like, my sims are moving back out to Willow Creek now.

    The StrangerVille game pack and semi-scripted storyline are the most fun I've had since Jungle Adventure. My 2-man household moved into an abandoned Simazon warehouse across from the Library, then they both finished the "quest" and are working their way up through the military career branches while renovating the warehouse. Great story, great scenery and sounds, awesome camo clothes and grungy building materials. I played through the quest all at once by choice, but can see how a different play style would allow the story line to take quite a while to complete. Great game pack all around, and I hope the developers will do more like it in the future.

    Got off to an slow start trying to feel the pack, the neighborhood is nice, do not know about the mystery but the infected Sims have me cracking up. As said I was intrigued by the pack but I do not like the execution and for what I paid ($4.99) I can get used to it. :)

    It was okay, I think I honestly got my $20.00 worth so I have no complaints, other than the Sim I have played forever lost his life in Strangerville(I will not say how as to not spoil it for anyone that may get killed too lol) Thankfully I did not save :blush:

    It's inspiring, creative and enables you to play the story but also play it as Sims. My SIM has been to other worlds to socialise, gain life skills and then go back to stranger ville to continue the story.

    When I first read about the pack, I was not exactly thrilled. After playing a little with it, it grew on me. I like it but it's missing a few things to say I love it. I wish the story would have had a few different scenarios or endings depending on choices throughout the story. And I don't mean variations in how to get item x or y but really separate storylines. Also the need to play it through in every save where you want to use the world as a regular world is bothering me.

    But I enjoyed the story enough to say I like the pack, something I did not expect when I saw the first teasers about the pack.

    Not to derail the thread. Your avatar is beautiful. I have a Battlestar Galactica(2004) family in one of my saves. She would be the perfect Athena/Boomer sim. I am going to use your avatar as the base for my sim (Athena/Boomer). I'll never get her as pretty as your avatar but she has inspired me to try.

    I like it but I'll repost what I said in another thread:

    * snip *

    So far my biggest disappointment is how little there is to do. I understand not having fishing spots but I was hoping for more collectibles at least. Click, click, click and for the most part I can make my sim walk somewhere. Of course there are the townies, and I do love them but I usually prefer interacting with my own played sims (I play rotationally) so I'm not sure how much I'll get out of them outside of the story.

    * snip *

    Hia, just wanted to say that there is a new fishing spot in StrangeVille. Up beside the pretty big houses on the cliff. There is a body of water that continues into a waterfall. It is quite lovely but I wish that there was a new fish for this world, something new to collect.

    Cheers.

    Cool... thanks! I haven't been there yet. I probably jumped the gun a bit with my impressions. I expected more for my poor trailer park nerdy, sciencey sims to do I guess. I probably haven't played enough yet to get true feel for the whole pack yet.

    Thanks! Appreciate it! Wasn't planning on her looking so much like Boomer tho.

    It was short, simple and easy and that is fine with me, bc I'm not a rpg player and there were too much loading screens.
    I enjoy the rest of the pack.
