Below are some of my Sims names I think might be a bit unique. Except Treet was named after a real movie star, Treet Williams. Although I've never heard that name for anyone else but him. And I created Kailani in tribute to a past Miss America, Kaye Lani Rae Rafko whom I met years ago. Although she was Miss Michigan at the time. :)

    Mazarine
    Sonnet
    Marcellina
    Ridge
    Tine
    Dreama
    Chambree
    Kewanee
    Treet
    Sequoia
    Aylavanni
    Kailani

@izecson My Father's name was Earnest, but everyone called him Ernie. I never knew it was considered unique. Cool! :)

It is unique I believe it's an old name, people these days usually left out the 'a' and name their son Ernest.

Some of the names I've used:
    Girl:
    1. Ayer
    2. Arayna
    3. Belyndra
    4. Beladona
    5. Chry
    6. Chelia
    7. Harlys
    8. Jera
    Boy:
    1. Argentine

    3. Bryton
    4. Balthasar

Some are unusual, some are weird, some are very normal but I just like the sound of them. I'm on a constant hunt for names I like that are not typical NPC names for the sims.

    Vance
    Hades
    Persephone
    Uriel
    Aislinn
    Lance
    Morrigan

When I look for names I usually start off with demon/angel names then move onto Irish gods/goddesses( part of my ancestry) and then other cultural deities to see what catches my fancy.

I had a few aliens in my game. The mother was called Corbuline and the son Kurian. Kurian did get a child he named Socrates, but Socrates sadly... didn't exist for long.
And then there was my alien-vampire hybrid named Tunod (donut backwards).

I went through a phase where I took normal names and just spelled them backwards. Obnadynnad

WHEN we get a magic pack, I intend to follow the Bewitched school of naming female witches that all end with the letter A.
    Samantha
    Serena
    Tabitha
    Endora
    Hagatha
    Enchantra
    Esmerelda
    Clara
    Portia
    etc.

And, to keep it fair, I'll name male witches with names that end in O.
    Romeo
    Apollo
    Bruno
    Kato
    Cosmo
    Ianto
    Rollo
    etc.
