    (spoiler) Make sure you have a really cheap refrigerator when moving in a new neighborhood.

    I just started playing this new pack, and well my sim had her refrigerator confiscated by the sim in black.

    There was something a little off about her new neighbors who came to welcome her to the neighborhood.

    While at her home, her strange guest planted something in her garden, and put some weird stuff in her fridge.

    I didn't catch a picture of the Sim in Black, but they gave her $1 and confiscated her contaminated refrigerator and the weird plants in the garden.

      You've just reminded me to lock all doors when starting with a family! I saw this done in a Game changer's YouTube video. I hope that works and stops visitors putting unwanted stuff in it!

      I laughed at that too, but yeah make sure Spoiler is the first word in your title.

      The spoiler you put in the title is cut off because your title is too long, thus defeating the purpose of a spoiler warning.

      I love the items that came with the game and clothes, the story to short and only a one play threw. I like jungle adventure better. For 20 dollars the story not worth it but it's content yes. And the military career and skills. I finish the mystery in a few hours like others did. You can revive the mother but what's the point.....

      I absolutely LOVE the hairstyle my sim is wearing (in the avatar picture). Actually @boyinflorida21 it's not a one time play through. There is a way to play it again, and again by ...
      you can heal Mother, and start all over again. First time just checking it out, and the second time for any number of reasons.

      I am just hoping to defeat the mother so I can play it normal. I think its going to be hard for me though :(

      I "X"d out of the neighborhood welcome peeps. I was not taking a chance on the men in black taking my fridge!

      My sim didn't get a welcome wagon or the sims in black. I even grew my own bizarre fruit to try and lure them in. Now I'm hesitant to buy a better fridge just in case. Guess I'll be upgrading the one I have. Have to repair the computers my sim broke anyway.

      Yeah, the high end fridge got confiscated. Good thing my Sim has two money trees and about $500k in family funds at the moment.

      i was wondering why nothing like this was going on in my game, then realized i'd given the lot i'm playing on the trait that keeps random sims away...

      I didn’t get a welcome crew because I moved in at 2am. Guess by morning no one cared. I have the cheapest fridge right now cause it’s all my sim was able to afford, wouldn’t mind its absence

      I think what happened in my case is that I moved my sim in late in the day. She also has a job and spent the rest of the week working during the day. The WW never had a chance to show up.

      My fridge was confiscated too. Ted put the fruit in there.

      I've finished the mystery but like others didn't get the welcome wagon or the secret agent visit. I'm going to move my sim back to Brindleton Bay, delete that save, and start over. I wanted a reason to do it again anyway. :p

      Don’t worry! Buy some fruit and put it in the fridge. You’ll get investigated very fast.

      I bet you may have to "invite in" the welcome wagon. I never do that. I only talk to them outside me home since my doors are locked to only allow the household.

      Is this something that will happen as soon as you move into the neighbourhood, like any regular welcoming party?
      Or is it something that only happens if you begin the storyline?
      I am asking, because I was under the impression that the infected Sims would be a minimal occurrence if you didn't initiate an investigation.
      But if these types of Sims are in the welcoming party I am forever turned off, unless there is a future patch to disable the "strangeness".

      @crystalabyss1, @AriaMad2 i'd like to amend aria's comment with the phrase "if you don't have the private dwelling lot trait". my household had bizarre fruit in the fridge, grew three of the plants even (one sim was affected, so loved taking care of those) and while i did see possessed infected and agents walk down the path to my lot, they'd stop at the lot boundary and turn around, heading back where they came. was quite interesting to see, really
