Restaurant seating

I hope we can the option to be able to sit where we want our sims to sit and dine. I do love the idea of being seated but if my don't get seating where I am wanting to I would love the option to be able to move.

Maybe we'll be able to click and reserve tables, like clicking and reserving rooms in Bon Voyage?

I cannot get my sims to be seated the action disappears completely and no matter how many times I move tables and chairs, restart the game. Flat out re sell the restaurant to fix the glitch. Super disappointing the dine out expansion is useless making the business unsuccessful because no food is being sold.

What I would to see happen, is when a family member or a friend arrives at the restaurant, our Sim would have the ability to invite them to join them. I've had the family go out as a group, but one of them had to work. She arrived to the "Family Gathering" as that is a Club I set up for them, but she couldn't sit at one of the tables, nor could she take part in that family outing. She ended up at a table by herself in the long run. Seems lonely to me.
