Hello everyone!
I’ve recently started my sims 2 game up and I did so because I haven’t played it in years. Brand new install and I’m looking forward to the in depth gameplay it provided. I’ve also been looking at a lot of people’s picture posts and the graphics in the pictures look vastly better than my game. I’m wondering if you are using mods to improve them? If so, could you kindly direct me to them?

Turn simple terrain off, and change the resolution. I think there was or there is a program you can download to do that automatically but don't remember the name of it.
Thank you. With a bit of searching I found that program, graphics rule maker. Now my game looks awesome!!! Now to try and not kill my sims cause this game is hard after playing 4 for awhile. Lol!!!
