    Wondering If I Need to Go Back to an Earlier Game Save

    I just installed the Concert Job Event mod by KawaiiStacie. It's great and I love how I can control the time, place and date of the concert for my Singer Sim. However, I'm wondering if I need to go back to a much earlier game save to get the full benefit of it? For instance, I've held concerts at two different venues and not a single Paparazzi has shone up. One of the descriptions by the mod creator was advising the performer to dress up as they may get a visit from the Paparazzi. I had to ask if they were included in GF, as I installed the Road to Fame_Professional Singing Career so early on. I've had RTF previously, but not this latest version, so I knew Paparazzi were included. I have since discovered they are in GF. Currently, my Sim is a Global Superstar, so I'm concerned that he's not drawing the press as he should, which is making me think either the mod is glitched, or that he should include them as part of the VIPs he supposed to make sure he invites to his concerts. OR, that I should simply go back to a much earlier game save to watch him rise again using this other mod.

    I'm completely torn at this point. I'm also aware that if I reinstall RTF, all of his previously built up Hit Beat points will likely disappear and it will be as if he's starting all over again, only as a top notch star.

    If anyone has any sage advice, I'm all eyes. I'm truly torn. I suppose I could do what I did a time before, and just go back to the game save where he had 100/100 Hit Beat points, once I reinstall RTF. (Right now I'm kicking myself for not making a backup before installing this new mod, so that if I changed my mind, no harm, no foul.)

    What are your thoughts? Please, and thank you, in advance.

      The Mod only requires City Living so, I am thinking that she didn't really mean that the Paparazzi would show up. She also says something about filling VIP seats, I think she was just hyping the Mod. It may be best to join her discord and ask her directly https://discordapp.com/invite/qMdZwyD

      Thanks, but it won't let me in. I'm on Deaderpool's as well as Sacrificial's discord, but it just tells me my email address is already used. Face/palm. No, duh! I've backed up my folder plus my game saves and I'm about to give it a whirl. I've already posted in the General Mods Discussion, about hearing a blood-curdling scream … ;)

      Did you click where it says already have an account? Just type in your email address and discord password if you don't have it saved and on autofill and it will take you to their discord.

      Cool, thanks. In the meantime, the two mods seem to be playing nicely together. I'll see when his first concert job event takes place. :)

      errr i fail to see the downside in the paparazzi not showing :p good riddance i say! but i get where you're coming from, realistic play, but imo the game isn't all that realistic to begin with: first of all, how do they Always magically spawn wherever you go the second you arrive?? are they all psychics? and second they Always seem to want to harass the player sims, even if there are bigger celebs on the lot... and just like in ts 3 you pretty much are forced to put up with them since they never leave you alone and paying or scaring them off is useless since they will be back shortly after they left. ;) guess i am just biassed since i also despise the paparazzi in real life. they are worthless scum in my eyes. just because someone is famous doesn't give them the right to invade their privacy, harass them to the brink of insanity and make up fake rumors about them. it should be illegal what they do and i always wondered why it is even allowed.

      Actually, Erik has gotten pretty good at asking the offensive fan and/or Paparazzi to leave. He paid one off at his actual wedding. That wedding went off without a hitch. Just family, a few close friends, the bride and groom, juice, cake and dancing.

      haha he got lucky :) i have seen Johnny Gat (i made him myself as a townie action movie star) and Thorne Bailey (god he is so much more tolerable without the paparazzi darling quirk) send them away often and within a few ticks they respawned to continue their obnoxious behaviour.
