    Never had lottery

    So I had been playing Seasons for a while now but haven't had any chance for the lottery day to spawn (or the shopping rebate one). Is there any chance I can add this manually? Been hoping for my sim to play :)

      How long are your seasons? If you're playing 7-day seasons it might take a while to pop up; I play 14-day seasons and it shows up about once a "year".

      I play a 14 day season just recently :) Currently in my second week :)

      How far through the year are you? How long have you played this particular save? The pop-up holidays only seem to happen once, maybe twice, a year, and even then, it really just depends on how long your years are, and how often you play each save.

      I tend to get it once a year if I play on 7 or 14 day seasons. I played on 28 day seasons in one save and got the lottery twice a year.

      I'm playing shortest seasons (7 days) and I did not see a single lottery event during my first 3 sim years. Had it several times later, so I guess it's a pretty random event, and that you just had bad luck, OP.

      I've had it show up at least twice in this save, which I've been playing pretty regularly since GP came out. It's also on the 7-day season, which I may change, since the 'years' are whizzing by. I play on Long, so it makes more sense to have the seasons take longer. I'm wondering, however, if that will slow down how many rainy days there are. Too many so far.

      It can only happen on Wednesdays, so if you've filled your calendar with lots of holidays on that day, then it can't spawn one.
