Cars - they'd just be clutter without an open world, and even in S3, my Sims never had them. They had bicycles.
Vacation worlds - I'd like them if you could live in them. Granite Falls is beautiful, and I've had Sims living there in the past, but it's a bit difficult when you can't go into BB to get something you need, and it's impossible if you have a kid or teen.
Occults - I wouldn't mind witches and would probably buy a witches pack, but it's not at the top of my list.
University as it was done in the past - I would not like it if it were a separate world in which young adults had to live in a dorm. I want a general education pack - it could have a university world for those who like that, but I want things for all ages - a rabbit-hole university for older teens and YAs, online classes, and home-schooling for kids and teens.
Cars, but that’s just because of how intense people are about them. I understood why people really wanted toddlers and terrain editing, but I don’t understand the same obsession when it comes to cars.
Preteens. Come on, people - it's a 2 or 3 year lifestage that at most mixes Child features with Teen features. Very, very little new gameplay requiring an all new height and therefore completely redone CAS and animations. No, thanks. Things that need that much new work should bring new gameplay.
Commuting by vehicles. Car gameplay? Sure. But I'm so done with Sims being shoved into cars and schoolbuses. Sims set a forward, progressive path on sexual orientation. Sims 4 has pushed forward on breastfeeding (finally!) and gender identity. Let's push forward on climate-related technology too.
Werewolves. Meh. If we're going to shapeshift, I don't want to be stuck with only one option.

My list would be:
- Cars - why???
- Liberated babies - I don't see the point. I like them fine the way they are. (Also really don't like toddlers...)
- Laundry - its already there, but I never ever use it. Its bad enough in real life, why would I want it in my game?
- Another lifestage - I'd rather they focused on developing the current ones further. I'd especially like more for the kids to do autonomously with each other, like play tag or something.
I don't care about cars, pre-teens, babies and werewolves, so I won't be disappointed if we don't get them. However, Farming pack is something I definitely don't want to see. We don't need another farmville.
Cars.. I just can't imagine them being anything more than a decoration or a place to Woohoo with Sims 4.
I've seen many asking for a University expansion, in 2 and 3.. I pretty much just rushed through it when I did have some Sims go to University. It's just never been a expansion I really enjoyed playing through.
Cars. Like others have said I don't really use them and don't see the point especially with a closed world. I liked the bike the best anyway.
University. I played it in ts2 and was mind numbingly bored after a week in game. Never played in 3 but I just really don't get the attraction. The most University I'd ever be fine with is a rabbit hole like regular school.
Preteens. I don't get the point. I spend forever just waiting for my kids to become teens because it's already one of my least favorite ages.
Beach vacation worlds. I'm just so over this idea. I don't even take my Sims to pools because they're boring. I don't want to watch my Sims do laps, and I don't want to watch them do nothing and tan on a beach either.
Body hair. Look it exists irl and whatever people have different opinions on that. I just don't think it looks very good in game.
What I do want are more CAS hair and eye swatches, witches and fairies because I've never played them before, better aliens and plantsims... I digress.
Also my opinions are just opinions. No shame if you like these things. We just play differently.
Witches, werewolves, fantasy beasts. Anything supernatural I will not even buy. I own every single EP, GP, and SP but not vampires. I refuse to have vampires in my game, or even the option for such. I already don't like that the game gives you aliens... Although having aliens has been a thing in sims forever (and they might exist in the real world)... I just don't care for anything that makes my game unrealistic to me.
University and cars. Cars seem like they would just be pointless (still sitting in front of a loading screen when you travel) unless made specifically for decoration. University has been done and I just wasnt a fan of it in Sims 3.
Oops, forgot disabilities - that's an absolute do not want! I don't mind added objects for storytellers, but that's as far as I'm willing to go. I live that life, I don't want my sims to go through it. Plus disability is boring...seriously.
Also couldn't care less about the babies or any other extra life stages. After going back to S2 and having to chase the infant (where did the butler put her now?!) I'm all set with the babies, though a few more object options wouldn't be amiss. I would seriously love to have more crib choices, though as I don't have everything already out, there may be more than the 2 I have lol.

pretty much this. Except I have vampires. The presence of aliens and vampires makes me practice a sort of lifestate intolerance. My sims hate and fight vampires. Luckily not that many aliens are around these days.
Everything else... I might like. I wasn't into the toddler hype before them at all but they turned out really cute. So I believe anything could be done really well.
I could make a long list of things some people are interested in that I really don't want (most of them already mentioned in the thread) and an equally long list of things that I really do want....but in the end, it's all about how the dev team implements any of them.
Sims games have introduced things which I thought I didn't want in a way that made me end up really enjoying them....and by contrast have given me things I did want but in a way that I wish they really wouldn't have bothered at all. At this point, I'm sort of in the camp of "I don't really care that much what is added, as long as they do it well."
Cars would be useless because there's no open world. I'll sacrifice that immersion for something more substantial for gameplay.
I don't see a reason for preteens either. They wouldn't do very many things other lifestages don't do already. And I just don't care for farming/horses.

Disabilities-please just no
The Supernatural/occult- not my thing
"Love will Fight, Love will Win and Love will Survive."
Cars - Yeah, don't really care either way about these (unless it becomes a hobby).
New Life Stages - It would just take away development of the life stages we do have.
Babies - I like the simplicity of babies in Sims 4, you never have to worry about losing them.
Height Sliders - They would have to go back and reanimate everything.
University - Thought the Sims 3 version was boring, but I'm open to seeing how they can improve on it.
Horses - They would be just as difficult to make as cats and dogs, and there is no open world to use them in.
Casinos - Not my cup of tea in real life, not my cup of tea in the sims.
Disabilities - Would be hard to do right.
Amusement Parks - The biggest lot we have is 64x64, that'd be a small amusement park.
Preteens.
Babies.
Werevolves.
More female clothes.
