Landlines, newpapers, spiral staircases, ts2 OfB style ticket machine, servos as an object, vibrating heart bed, small telescopes, pool table, laptops, genie lamp, cake dancers (The Sims 4 doesn't seem quite as cheeky as the first two games did, tbh), crystal ball, the skull candle from unleashed, fashion runway, oxygen bar, juice keg, poker table, blackjack table, slot machine, reptile cage, ballet barre, football/soccer goal, pottery wheel, nectar stomping tub, snake charming rug/basket, Italian baking oven, magic performance stages, fortune teller machine, toadstool stool, dragon eggs (and associated baby dragons).

I've made this thread a couple times before, every once in a while. What are some items you would like to see return?

    For me:

    Laptops
    Spiral Stair Cases
    Ladders
Basically all of the into the future high tech stuff
    BoneHilda
    Urinals/Bathroom Stalls/Dumpsters
    Sleeping Bags
    Bunk Beds
    Pool Table

Saying "not to be rude", then blatently being rude does not excuse rude behavior.

Everything you listed is a want from me. Ladders though would bring me so much joy. Imagine the space you’d save when building. Tiny houses could have lofts!

I wouldn’t mind some more instruments too. A drum set comes to mind. Could be fun if we had saxophones and trumpets and the like. Maybe even recorders could be a thing for children.

EDIT: I didn’t see the ‘return’ part haha. Whoops!

    • Strollers -- and the proper babies to go with them
    • Changing Station -- and the proper babies to go with them
    • Playpen -- one of the coolest things the Sims 3 store ever gave me
    • Spiral Stairs
    • Elevators - Proper ones...that I can use in any home on ALL floors if I want
    • Laptops
    • Magazines (Totally miss sims having interests and being able to read about them!)
    • Urinals - I used these to tell the difference between male and female bathrooms...ffs...community lots are so challenging without them
    • Shower in a Can - just cause
    • Telescopes -- just a telescope...not this freaking "Observatory" garbage we have now.
    • Food processors -- My sims are getting carpal tunnel from all the chopping. The absence of this from Kitchen Stuff made me pout for a minute or two.
    • Accordion and BagPipes instruments -- aright..so no sims game ever had them, whatever, I still want them

Edit: @AfterMidnight Hey, you posted while I was typing...but I think we're both on to something with this "more instruments" thing. We threw in some actually return items to stay on topic too at least. I got your back.
This post will be edited by StormKeep at some point.

You pretty much nailed it OP. Not caring so much about Bonehilda or the future high end tech stuff but everything else is a major want.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.

pool table w/ hustle for money...poker table...arcade games...features that really give you a wide-array of activities to engage in when leaving the house. The bowling alley is a good START...

I loved Bonehilda, and hope they will enable burglars or let her attack even vampires sneaking in for a bite, she was great, and love spiral stairs and want a magic mirror again

    @playermarko456, @Zeldaboy180 & everyone,
As we had two threads about the same topic, I've now merged them to have all the suggestions in the same place. Also moved this to The Sims 4 Ideas Corner ;)

There are a lot, but without thinking too much, this would be the 3 that first come to mind:

    -A normal size telescope
    -Photo booths
-The potery station from TS2 Freetime
    Origin ID is: AlbaWaterhouse

I definitely miss spiral staircases and ladders the most. I also wish photobooths and lounge chairs would come back. The poolside always looks so awkward with a couple of small patio chairs.

I totally agree with all those and I miss the telescope and more clutter objects that will actually sit on a shelf! I get so frustrated trying everything small on shelves while building. Also I miss the Pool table, arcade/slot machines and the Drum kit ;)

Round window simial to Sims 1 and other styles of round windows. Some 70,80 stuff pack for buildding :) OH AND !!! THE SOFA AND CHAIRS THAT CAME FROM THE SIMS 1 THAT WAS THE BUBBLE STYLE.

I agree with a ton of everyone's ideas! Here is my list:

•Bunk beds - such a space saver and realistic for siblings who share a room... like what kid (with or without siblings) didn't want a bunk bed!

•Spiral staircases - added such flair to homes, also a huge space saver!

•GRAND staircases! I remember them in Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff, not sure if we had them for real in Sims 3 or if I just had a mod... but those were beautiful and would add a lot to a mansion - especially in Del Sol Valley.

•Small telescopes for children to use and build their logic skill

    •Trash compactor!

•Compost machine - that I think we had in Sims 2 (I could be wrong) and we could use the compost to fertilize our gardens!
    - Also while we're at it, maybe a place we could store dog poop in (if not adding it to the compost) to use for fertilizer. What a weird sentence.

•Standing fish tank like from the first game. I like the little fish bowl but it'd be cool to have a slightly bigger one without going full on aquarium.

•New Orleans style build items (and music) from the Sims Unleashed - that was my absolute favorite.

•Bicycles - Sims, adults and children, could "Go For A Ride" and have similar options to taking your dog for a walk (Short, Medium, Long rides, or a workout oriented ride)

•The photo booth that prints photos you can mount or hang!

I will end my list here even though there's much more I could say, and I'm sure once I post I will think of more lol !

House phones! The classic ones on a wall, or table. And i need them usable, bc seriously it is really hard to write and screenshot phone calls for a simlit story that takes place in the 90's! :(
