@IreneSwift : wow, what a good look you have! Yes, I deleted the fire station, which places itself there all the time! I needed space for some residential lots.

Did you move the gym in Hidden Springs to the downtown area?
Noah has aged up to child now. He was born a virtuoso, like his mother. So I guess it's no surprise that when she started playing her guitar, he would come and watch.
@AlexaKry Hidden Springs is my favorite store world, so I know it very well. And many of my sims have worked out in that gym. When I first saw the gym and noticed it was in town, I thought you might have copied it and placed it in a custom world, as I did in the world I'm currently playing in. But as I looked through those windows, I recognized the layout of Hidden Spring.
‘At least we can cook - they have left the kitchen ware.’ Granny nods towards the array of pots and pans hanging covered in cobweb on a rack from the ceiling.
‘Right. After we have spent a few hours scrubbing them clean enough not to get some century old disease and after getting that rusty stove to work. Which at first sight seem impossible.’
They walk up the large staircase, holding on tightly to the railing, just in case, but apart from creaking it seems in good shape. Their suitcases are in one of the upstairs bedrooms and the sisters put on as many layers of warm sweaters they can possibly wear under their coats. Dry socks are also welcome…
@jillbg I’m not following your story (reading long stories in a foreign language unfortunately is a problem for me, including books) so I really like following these short views in this topic. I’m sensing an Agatha Christie vibe lately (might be totally wrong of course).
@JoAnne65 I'm glad you like the extracts from my blog! I get the problems with reading in a foreign language, but practice makes perfect! I guess you mean the Miss Marple vibe with the two old ladies? I had them move into the century manor from the store a few years ago, and as I'm re-shooting old chapters, they got a makeover too!
They continue through to the dining room. The wallpaper is missing on a part of the wall, the filling of the chairs is worn and must have served as home for mice during several years. Crushed porcelain litter the floor and the dining table is covered in a layer of filth and dust.
One wall is stained by water. Granny pulls a little on the paper and a huge chunk comes off.
‘The wood seems all right,’ she states, brushing off the wet paper from her gloves.
