    Something is up with these guys (photos)

    I have taken a break from playing Sims 4, until either the game is patched or I add the next pack that is coming out, haven't decided yet. Anyways I just added MySims to my collection. I didn't even know you could get this on Origin until I stumbled across it the other day. It's been like forever since I last played this game. Anyways something happened while I was playing, and was deciding on where I wanted to show what happened, and I got to thinking about some of the trouble our sims in Sims 4 can get with the rocket (and as far as I know Sims 4 is the only one that has an actual rocket), so I thought why not share it with this forum. My sim came across some other sims working on a rocket, but with a slight twist, they decided they were going to launch a vampire off into outer space. My sim is the girl with the red ponytail.

    Right after this, I had her working on a rocket, again, but this time no one was inside.

      He is a MySim premade, his name is Ray. I did a little digging on his character, and they suspect that he was based on the Squall Leonhart. He's one of my favorite sims so far. I'm not sure if this sim is a vampire, but I suspect he is because I've seen him with a set of fangs.

      Here is the list of bugs/glitches. I attempted to give a link to it, but the link kept messing up.
      • Dance-Off Glitch - When you want to enter a Dance-Off but the game will not let you.
      • Rock Glitch - The glitch traps your Sim in a rock. If this one happens, just save and exit to the main menu. When you start the game back up, your sim will be back at their home.
      • Prospecting Glitch - This glitch allows you to dig in a different spot then the actual digging spot
      • Two Sim Glitch - When a Sim is kicked out and moved back in, sometimes there will be two of that Sim in your town. So far the only one I've noticed. Players have managed to use this one to their benefits though. You can see videos on YouTube talking about how.
      • "Ghost" Glitch - Sims can go through walls while doing actions.
      • House Glitch - Your house will randomly disappear for a short period of time.
      • Cassandra's Glitch - This lets Cassandra float into your home.
      • Star Level Glitch - This is on MySims PC and when you get a Five Star town and delete it, on a certain star level, objects from the old file will sometimes appear in the new one. This one is an easy fix, just remove the old save file from your MySims folder.
      • Fountain Glitch - This glitch lets Sims do everyday things in the fountain.
      • No Food Glitch - This lets Sims with the Tasty interest eat food although there will be no food visible.
      • Bridge Glitch - This happens when your Sim is on the bridge and you don't move the remote/mouse for a while. Your Sim will then sometimes glitch into the bridge.
      • Hug Glitch - This happens when two Sims hug each other and another Sim is between them. The Sim between them will glitch into them and it looks like they and hugging the Sim too.
      • Liberty's Door Glitch - The door inside Liberty's house is black all over.
      • Stand through object glitch- Sometimes when you decide to move to quick such as when your sim is sitting on a chair, your sim will stand through the object.
      • Phone Glitch- If you create a new game.When your Sim is talking the phone so you change its voice. If you hit done, your sim will keep the phone in its left hand. It will stay there until you talk to Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall.
      • No Be Nice Glitch - For some reason, some sims will not let you be nice to them like you were mean with them once. This glitch appears mostly on Geeky sims. To get the angry essence, usually from being mean, you can also get it from being nice to certain sims. Not sure why, but I'm not taking any chances with this one.

      Gadzooks! Sounds almost as bad a 4. Think I'll pass on that one. Did EA forget how to make Sims games that work properly after TS2?

      Sims 2 has its glitches. Let's be realistic here.

      You can't place stairs next to walls without cheats in Sims 2 if you have M&G installed.
      The Physiology skill causes skill increases where it should not.
      You can't phone NPC's to chat or invite them over (Townies, yes. NPC's no).
      Several game/neighborhood breaking things that not only did they not warn players about, did nothing to correct them.
      Several other minor glitches that were never fixed.


      The ability to patch games is what has caused game companies to be lazy in their QA. Because they can just "patch it later". Before a lot of people had access to the internet, if a game shipped out bugged, it was bugged forever. This would obviously cause bad PR and therefore game companies were more careful to make sure their games were as bug free as possible. Now that they can push out patches that most players will receive, they aren't as careful in making sure games ship out bug free. Because people will go: "They'll patch it" or "They patched it" and continue to buy their games.

      @littlemissgogo Yes, I am enjoying it. It's different than your average Sims game.

      Nothing made by humans is without error. That said, TS2 is a masterpiece in comparison to 4, the devs clearly cared about what they wre making, and the problems are so few and scattered I don't notice them, and I play TS2 to this day, and much more than 4.

      I have M&G (all packs, actually) and routinely place stairs next to walls in my Victorian builds without cheats.
      No comment on Physiology as have not ued it in so many years I forget how long and what happened.
      Depends on the NPC. Who in their right mind would want to connect with Mrs. Crumplebottom or the Charlitan? Other than store clerks, restuarant staff, and the letter carrier, none are worth bothering with. The written guides tell you which are interactable with, & content with that.
      No arguement on the breakers. We should have at least been warned.
      Don't know about the minor glitches. Can't be upset with what you don't hit.
