@meerkattime Truth be told, I thought the "building a snowman" idea was super cheesy but, we all know how sims are in building their snowmen, so I had to incorporate it. I'm SO glad it turned out to be a classic snowman and not Grim!

Just want to show you Steve's humble collection...
Dash wanted to catch an insect. That's why he didn't get into the bus when the school was over. He went for a walk.
And met his classmate. I'm still surprised we've found her there alone. Her home doesn't seem to be a peaceful quiet place if she decided to do her homework there.
It hasn't been too much time since Dash went to school for the first time and he doesn't have any friends yet (which's kinda odd to me, thought everyone would love to be friends with a rock star's child), so they've chatted a little bit.
Then Dash remembered, why he came there, and started looking for bugs and insects. Luckily, there was quite enough butterflies there.
He chose the most beautiful one and successfully caught it. Then he wanted to catch more, but it got dark, and the butterflies disappeared.
Meanwhile Sheryl remembred about her low painting skill. She officially has a job as a painter though she can't draw and does that hardly ever. That was her wish. So she felt creative once again.
At least she was trying to figure out what a paintbrush does.
Steve was "watching the kids" writing music. It was late enough when he realized that Dash still wasn't at home. Well, at least he hasn't lost Gardenia.
Steve got into the car to get him home. Can't say Dash was very grateful. I don't know why, but he had a wish to be mean with Steve though they're good friends.
Steve was upset.
They headed for home, but first they went to the office. Someone was spreading bad rumors about Steve. And Steve felt very depressed about it because of his traits. His celebrity friends started to avoid him, which was painful, because Steve is shy and introverted. It's hard to him to make friends. He had 3 bad moodlets. We went there to pay the press to make them "forget" the rumors. That was the most expensive way to fix the situation, but I still picked it, because, again, Steve's shy and he's not into scandals and lawsuits. Dash had to wait for him outside near the diner.
Then Steve took him there, because Dash was hungry. I thought he was looking like he wanted to dine there. Well, Steve didn't mind, but I believe it's the first time in his life when he dines at such a place, because first he was both too poor and not into restaurants, then he married Sheryl who likes to go out, but got too rich for such diners.
Online with EA Tech Support because with the last update, my Origin connectivity just went poof! Dang updates. Luckily it doesn't happen with each and everyone like *cough* Micro*cough*squash...
Update: EA's customer service was excellent on this call-back. Had no problem with understanding the agent and well, she got me back on-line quickly and professionally. Gave her a glowing review via email survey. Even if EA outsources their call-centers, the good ones (the ones that you can understand and are quick and helpful) deserve to be praised for their efforts...and I got a good one...today.

Ryan: Yes..I am.
Of course Lynn got the job.But storm season was over, so she took up a part time job as a writer.
Iris's third day as a child was a snow day, so she didn't have to go to school.
She started the day by fulfilling her wish to make a snow angel.
She then went to the winter festival and made a snowman, and then learned the writing skill at the library.
Her mother Erica worked on her painting (level 9) and inventing (level 8). To complete her LTW she would also have to learn sculpting from zero - I wonder if she will have the time, on normal lifespan without cheats!
The whole family was together again in the evening, and dined on blueberry muffins made by Iris. (I love it when children can bake cakes for the whole household - it doesn't take long to prepare them, they are usually of decent quality and the children gain skill points!)

Blogs take a little bit of work. What I've found is meeting people around town helps. Text people and blog alternatively until you reach level 7 to get the transmogrify app. After that just alternate transmogrify and blog and you'll have a 5 star blog before long.

***Update on the Ultimate Sim Challenge. Also a quick note, I am having Brittany narrate this challenge. I think it works good for this.
Brittany: When I got to Sunset Valley, I knew I needed to get a home. I had almost $90,000 to spend so I had a house built for me called Prairie Smile.
My new home. I'll have to have a roommate live with me until Riverview, plus my future husband and children.
Thanks to my Watcher's help, this is my collection so far. I have two metals, seven gems, and 20+ insects left to find but I have a long time to find them.
At the library, I signed up for the daycare profession. I love kids so it won't be too bad for me.
When I went to the Science Lab to sell my extra insects, I got $15,000. I also saw this beautiful unicorn but Brandon says I can't have one yet.
I went to the alchemy shop to cut some of my gems into the heart-shape cut. I then consigned them and I hope to get a ton of money. I also put out my spire cut tiberium so it will net me some simoleons. Lastly, I bought a potent invigorating potion so that I could stay awake for awhile. Easier to get things done that way.
***Next update, Brittany takes care of the kids. Just have some hunting, three careers, a husband, and at least one kid to get before I can send her to Riverview. Celeste update coming later.

Update: EA's customer service was excellent on this call-back. Had no problem with understanding the agent and well, she got me back on-line quickly and professionally. Gave her a glowing review via email survey. Even if EA outsources their call-centers, the good ones (the ones that you can understand and are quick and helpful) deserve to be praised for their efforts...and I got a good one...today.

She started the day by fulfilling her wish to make a snow angel.
She then went to the winter festival and made a snowman, and then learned the writing skill at the library.
Her mother Erica worked on her painting (level 9) and inventing (level 8). To complete her LTW she would also have to learn sculpting from zero - I wonder if she will have the time, on normal lifespan without cheats!
The whole family was together again in the evening, and dined on blueberry muffins made by Iris. (I love it when children can bake cakes for the whole household - it doesn't take long to prepare them, they are usually of decent quality and the children gain skill points!)
Agreed, its kind of insensitive of her to do that.But I guess unless you've experienced it, you'd
never fully understand.

It is an odd glitch, but one a lot of people experience.I mean I could keep the dog, but I would have to

Not really soon, my sims have long lives and he just went to school. But he's very rebellious.
Wonder who started them and why. He's a very quiet celebrity, hasn't done anyone no harm. And that's the first time in his long life when he heard rumors about himself.

Last night I played the Finnegans. Bhodie aged up to teen. I think Conrad (not entirely sure that's his name) is close to aging up. Not much else happened. I have a CAS pic of Bhodie.

Blogs take a little bit of work. What I've found is meeting people around town helps. Text people and blog alternatively until you reach level 7 to get the transmogrify app. After that just alternate transmogrify and blog and you'll have a 5 star blog before long.

***Update on the Ultimate Sim Challenge. Also a quick note, I am having Brittany narrate this challenge. I think it works good for this.
Brittany: When I got to Sunset Valley, I knew I needed to get a home. I had almost $90,000 to spend so I had a house built for me called Prairie Smile.
My new home. I'll have to have a roommate live with me until Riverview, plus my future husband and children.
Thanks to my Watcher's help, this is my collection so far. I have two metals, seven gems, and 20+ insects left to find but I have a long time to find them.
At the library, I signed up for the daycare profession. I love kids so it won't be too bad for me.
When I went to the Science Lab to sell my extra insects, I got $15,000. I also saw this beautiful unicorn but Brandon says I can't have one yet.
I went to the alchemy shop to cut some of my gems into the heart-shape cut. I then consigned them and I hope to get a ton of money. I also put out my spire cut tiberium so it will net me some simoleons. Lastly, I bought a potent invigorating potion so that I could stay awake for awhile. Easier to get things done that way.
***Next update, Brittany takes care of the kids. Just have some hunting, three careers, a husband, and at least one kid to get before I can send her to Riverview. Celeste update coming later.
