    Move sims into custom built apartment

    I built an apartment building but can’t get my sim to move in. How do I move my sim into a specific apartment?

      Late Night style apartment buildings (usually highrises, but they don't have to be) only have one usable unit inside of them. Any other units would include Private Room markers and be behind an NPC-only door, thus darkened out, and are only for otherwise homeless NPCs to hibernate into. Moving into the one usable unit would be the same as any other residential lot. You can have them buy it and move by phone/computer if they are currently living elsewhere or you can place them there from Edit Town, either way provided that the household has enough funds to afford the one unit. Or they can be forced into it using NRaas MasterController and Add Sim, for those using mods.

      Is this the kind of apartment building we are talking about or did you mean something else?
