    Can this computer play sims good

    I was looking for a desk top as I am on a laptop, plays sims great, but I need a larger display screen right now.
    Will this computer play the sims well.
    by the way I have all expansions and stuff paks everything except Supernatural and will not be buying it. I do not have any mods at all never have, I have most store stuff available. some CAW worlds cc free, no sims from the exchange, maybe a few houses that are cc free.

      That one is an excellent choice at a great sale price and will handle the entire game. I've been recommending it for a while now. The only place where it comes up short is that it only has a standard HDD and not a solid state drive (SSD), but SSDs large enough to game on require a much higher price point. TS3 can benefit from being run from an SSD, but it's by no means a requirement.

      Hi, have just bought a second hand lenovo thinkpad to play sims 2 on but as it has compatability issues which i cant resolve so was wondering if it would run the sims 3 base game only. It has 4gb ram and Intel hd graphics 4000. My old laptop died and am missing my sims.

      @Bessieboo The way you describe your new computer, it's hard to say how well it would handle the TS3 base game. An intel 4000 is pretty old, but it is in fact supported, unlike newer cards. But depending on how much stress it's endured over the years, it might not perform as well as it would have when it was new. Still, if you ran a dxdiag, posted in pastebin.com (or some other free site) and linked it here, people might be able to tell you whether it's worth trying to run TS3.

      As for TS2, you could provide the same dxdiag and ask for more advice from the players who've been answering you in your most recent thread. You could also ask over at AHQ; there are a couple of responders there who don't post over here, and someone else may have insight.
