Whatever the form, text or pics, post them.
Because I am, every-time something interesting happens, and I don't want it to just be me.
I am finding myself smiling a LOT with this new pack.
Whether its deeper, or subtle game play that I have discovered, interactions with this worlds townies, or the synergy with other packs, so much is happening to delight me. They are probably little things, but I am really enjoying these situations.
And I want to share it because not many are interested on my side of the screen.
This game is getting bigger and interesting things should be emerging as the complexity grows.
How is Get Famous stirring things up for you?

I wasn't even aware of this thing until I came upon it in buy mode.
I have 5 sims all living together, going after fame.
Monique is the only one self-employed, so while everyone else was at work, I had her take her drone to the cybercafe to see if it accelerated her fame points.
I quicky discovered that sims are embarrassed to wear this thing.
Indeed, it does look ridiculous, and she caught the attention of some children.
They started to scrutinize her, like:
"Why is she wearing that helmet?
Is she supposed to be somebody?"
[Gasp!]
"Monique!"
"You are! You are!
You're Monique!"
Wow, gotta give them some autographs.
Still, the helmet...
Maybe changing into her Cosplay outfit might make her look a little more superheroish?
Naw, but it was a funny moment.
Fun must be always -- Tomas Hertl (San Jose Sharks hockey player)
Yeah, that bug gave me pause too, that's why I didn't try this out on my main game save.
I started a new one, but with some familiar sims that I could still enjoy. The climb to fame is rough for the first two stars. One of my sims is now at 4 stars, Vanessa Jeong joined my household at 3 stars. The rest are approaching 3 stars.
My sims have two media studios in their basement.
Vanessa Jeong was about 10 to 12 hours into a 24 hour marathon related to a [fictional] cosplay event.
She was full of energy and enthusiasm.
And then she suddenly went blue.
Her Brushes With Fame quirk kicked in. She can only go so long without contact from other celebrities.
I can't let her go on like this.
Kind of odd, since she is living in a house full of them. But, she is doing this marathon.
No problem!
Meadow Thayer is a 4-star celeb that can cheer her right up.
And is good for some advice when asked.
She perked right up like magic.
So all I needed to do was fill up her needs and get her back into the marathon.
Unfortunately she came all the way upstairs to eat the sandwich I had prepared for her in the basement.
She was already up the stairs before I could cancel it.
So time ran out and the marathon was cancelled. It's nice to have a fail now and then.
However, it's going to be CelebuSerum and a locked door for your next marathon.
I gave Judith Ward a slight makeover.
Upon my sims meeting her, it made sense to me that they would idolize her and would want to follow in her footsteps in their own rise to fame.
The problem is Judith is really mean and snobby.
And pretty much doesn't want anything to do with them.
Which makes sense to me since I kicked her out of her mansion and temporarily moved her into a modern Urbanite house in Starlight Boulevard. That would make anyone surly. This made her a one-person welcome wagon when my own sims moved to Startlight Boulevard as well.
Make that the un-welcome wagon.
They met her again while out for a stroll in their new neighborhood.
It was going well until Meadow asked her to act a scene that would earn them some celebrity points.
MORE:
The audacity of these young people.
Rejected!
They did manage to get an autographed photo out of her.
I decided then and there that Meadow would work to make Judith Ward one of her closest friends.
And on that day, Judith would lose her mean trait.
She will become merely hot-headed. I still want her to be somewhat edgy.
Now they can go hang their new prize on their wall.
Seriously?
At first I thought this was just her meanness, but now I think it may be a bug related to changing her look.
It would be cool if mean sims gave fans these greyed pictures though.
I finally remembered to go into First Person View mode when my Sim made her fans faint.
I didn't think I would be using that feature much, but I am finding it to be very immersive.
I keep jumping into to their viewpoint everyone once in a while.
After a few interactions with Judith Ward, I decided to have Meadow give her keys to the house.
Their social interaction choices were so limited, chasing her around town just to get to know her would be a slow process.
Now she occasionally drops by.
She has some random hours.
Meadow had just went to bed when I noticed Judith strutting about the house.
Watching a movie together was a great idea since they have film in common.
It also give them a lot more socials since they can talk about the movie afterwards.
Breakfast at Tiffany's Chez Llama.
One day Judith called up Meadow and asked her out to breakfast.
I usually don't accept these because I don't care to treat the asking sim to a free meal.
But I couldn't resist this crack in Judith's shields.
She's still oozing meanness though.

Vanessa is still fan-girling:
Seriously fancy food.
Judith has expensive taste.
I was tempted to extend the outing with dessert and chat, but Dinning out always makes me nervous.
Everything was going so smoothly, but you just feel like it's only a matter of time before things get chaotic.
Aw, she gets a hug.
Alright, this is a breakthrough and their friendship is pretty high.
I think it's time to replace that mean trait with Hot-headed.
Fashion Plate
Olivia also idolizes Judith Ward.
AS a style influencer, Judith is a playground for her creative soul.
She is allowed a makeover.
I gave her and additional outfit for her everyday wear.
Olivia then took impression for her style board.
Selfies for Simstagram.
So now Judith is merely a hot-head and now part of the entourage.
alan650111 Posted a thread saying that sims can now read written books at microphones.
That sounds like something that I can use because a lot of my sims write books.
Melonie Boom is my Comedian sim and she supplements her career by writing books specializing in comedy.
I wanted to give this a whirl.
I decided to try it at the library in Windenburg, figuring there would be less distractions.
Some sims would gather around, but only because she's a celebrity, not because they were interested in her book.
Steady there, Cassandra.
But most of the time it would be like this.
That guy is the Librarian, and he was more annoyed by Melonie than interested.
I even went as far create a club to hang out here at the library, but their showing up was hit or miss. Even when they did show up, they would be all over the place, despite having Watch Live Entertainment as their only activity.
So I decided to go to a smaller venue with a dedicated club, lead by Melonie--Windenburg's South Square Coffee cafe.
Her group is called Bloom's ARC Readers.

Writer's have alpha and beta readers.
These are trusted people who get first exposure to their written works for feedback:
They also have a group called ARC Readers (Advanced Review Copies).
As defined: "The expectation of an ARC reader is only to read the book and write a review to post (probably at least to Amazon, possibly Goodreads or other sites) shortly after publication."
The cafe is their hangout with this private room available.
Unfortunately the members are more interested in snacks and coffee than Melonie's book.
So, I also put a microphone out where they prefer to hangout.
Now this is more like it.
Since Melonie is a comedian, and her book is about comedy, I had her perform a few comedy routines as well.
This brings in more sims visiting the cafe, and I believe Melonie got paid 55 Simoleons and also earned some fame.
Now is the time to pose for pictures.
Alright, I am loving this.
This is now a thing in my game.
It occurred to me after she left that I should have copies of her books to give to member of her ARC group.
So there you have it.
-An ARC members group meeting.
-A hangout to have a reading.
-Comedy routine performances
-Posing for pictures.
-Giving (gifting) ARC members copies of the book.
-Plus all the benefits you can earn from having a Club.
That's a nice activity to have every time a new book is written, before it is officially published.
You can make copies of the book, for those that don't know. Just take it out of the inventory and click on it to make copies.
Do this before you publish, or you will lose the book.
Thank you.
I am going to have to get that mod.
Am also enjoying watching the movies and tv shows my Sim stars in.
Tonight, my Sim got her star on Starlight Boulevard...
Minutes later, she got her first fan to faint on it.
Perfect!
I am using this feature a lot more than I thought I would.
I find it makes my sims feel more alive and I really like seeing things from their perspective. I am not interested in playing the game from this view, but I do find the immersion level kicked up.
I often pop in when my sims go for a jog.
Or whenever I feel it might be interesting to see what they are seeing.
Rooms feel more like a real space somehow.
Entertaining Monique.
Eating her salad over here...
...so she can chat with a visiting Judith Ward.
Pick a snobby sim if you want to see your ceilings.
They often walk around with their noses in the air.
Good morning, Meadow.
Entering the cybercafe.
I think I'm going to have Marcus record a new reality show with the drone. We'll call it Celebrities Eating Cookies. This was the moment when my Sim and Marcus became good friends with Judith Ward. In fact, when I moved my Sim and Marcus back to Mirage Park guess who showed up for the Welcome Wagon? Judith.
You just reminded me of an idea that had crossed my mind for future game play.
A reality show based on a household of sims going after Superstardom. It should be a cool way of grooming fleshed out celebrities for my game.
I had that same idea. Meet the Del Sol Valley Sirens, and my versions of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Catwoman using content from the base game and all of the packs. They all have the Klepto trait, and they're using the drones to record themselves as they swipe items, work out, fight, woo hoo, and sing their way around DSV and other neighborhoods.
That rooster sculpture is the first thing they successfully stole and fenced.
I have a thread dedicated to this, but using Get Famous assets to improve my Cosplayers support lot has been a favorite side benefit of this expansion for me.
It has added a lot to an idea that was original inspired by Get Together's Clubs and City Living's GeekCon.
I will also be using Get Famous costumes, but custom content costumes inspired by other video games and movies are my favorites.

Tour of the uploaded version.
Roxanne Moxie (famous comedian) was at the spa, since I figured I'd take her out to work out a little since she gained some weight and lo and behold her roomate Misty Waters (Personal Trainer) was there and pretty much made her work up a sweat after she got done with Thorne.
She pretty much noped off from all that noise and went to swim instead, so decided to invite Misty to do the same. And then she decided she wanted to autonomously skinny dip with no shame and just embarrass her roommate.
Head back home, so she could refine her comedy routine she was going to use at Orchid a go go not to mention try out some material on Misty and just was not amused. That roll of her eye wonders why she puts up with her.
People at the lounge seemed to enjoy it even got a good couple of tips from it and some sims whispering about her, since it netted her enough fame to hit rising star finally.
I have no idea how to upload pictures here, so you just have to take my word for it. :P
