    Catching up and so much has happened so many more beautiful builds. CHATEAU RIONA is stunning and going straight into france for my (almost-) royal family of travelling sims :)

    @Sandraelle
    Beckinsale Place is another wonderful build with lots of lovely bedrooms (because I always pretend I am not going to have a houseful of children and always end up doing exactly that-) Beautifully designed and furnished as always :)

    @SPARKY1922 , so good to see you again, thanks for checking out my thread. Chateau Riona was so fun to colloborate on with my co-teammates. Would love to see pictures of it in the France world, I bet it will fit there nicely too.

    LOL about you pretending not to need all the kid bedrooms. Thanks for your nice comments on Beckinsale, I really enjoyed creating that home. :)

    THE RUBY DREAM RESORT
    built at 2 Sun Song Ave in Sunset Valley on a 60x37 commercial lot
    (will need to demolish the Old Pier Beach lot first)

    The Ruby Dream no longer sets sail but has become a luxury resort docked at the Old Pier Beach in Sunset Valley. If you're prone to seasickness but still want to experience all the amenities a cruise ship has to offer, then this is the place to visit. We can accommodate up to 95 guests in our VIP staterooms or our resort rooms with room service. There's lots to do on board our 7 decks, including a dance club, a casino, a gym, a dining room, food stands, bars, 2 pools, a spa, hot tubs and much more.

    This was a DNA request for @Emily4331 who wanted a resort that looked like a cruise ship. Her favorite colors were red and gold so there is a lot of that in this build, lol. DNA REQUEST HERE

    The Ruby Dream Resort is such a very, very detailed build! :) It looks so very great! The design and furnishing of each of the seven decks looks so very nice! There are so many very great facilities, activities areas and features in the Resort! It would have involved so much time, work and effort! Your presentation of the build through your photos and labels is done very well also. Very nice colour scheme of the build! It will be a very special venue for Sims to enjoy visiting and staying at! :)

    A very big WOW, The Ruby Dream Resort is absolutely awesome! You really have thought of everything for this resort and there are so many wonderful and interesting features included. This really is totally luxurious and a place I would love to go. The casino and spa are my favourite areas, I love the gold and black of the casino and I can almost feel the cleansing vibes of this amazing spa :)

    Woot! I love the red, gold and black color theme! My Favs are the Riviera Deck and how you did the lifeboats and that tail thing with the pieces from ST. I sound real professional! LOL Awesome work on the Captains Bridge too. Lots of creative ideas in this!

    Yay it's up. Absolutely fantastic job from what I see in the pics Sandy! You didn't miss a beat... the details are incredible. As Rox said, even the 'fish tail' on top... never noticed those objects before. So very creative indeed. Love how you even added the extra touches like the lifeboats. Your décor and use of patterns is top notch as usual. Everything looks so very luxurious and realistic. Makes me want to take another cruise soon. Heading off the rec, download and walk through this in game right now :smiley:<3

    Edit: What a clever use of the balanced beams :wink:

    @soocoolsim , thanks so much Paula! Yeah made me want to take another cruise too. Lol I wasnt really sure what to do with the top part of the ship, so I was just winging it trying different things to make it look more realistic. 😁

    Hi @Sandraelle

    your build is freaking awesome and made me load sunset valley immediately to try it out and it looks and feels fab in that location you have created something wonderful as always download and rec :)

    @Sandraelle I would say you "winged" that top remarkably well. When I first started to look at the build, I wasn't even sure what some of the things you used were. Love the lifeboats and really just all the little details that really make it seem like a cruise ship.

    @Sandraelle Beckinsale Place is lovely. Very clean build and it looks cozy. My favorite outdoor spot is the fire pit next to the pond.

    Ruby Dream is awesome. I can only imagine how long that took you. My first thought was making sims from The Love Boat and sending them there, lol. I have always wanted to build a ship resort, but it was to big of an undertaking. Thank you!

    @suzses, haha at the "winged" comment and thanks so much for stopping in and commenting. Yeah I was kinda stumped as to what to do with the top and just added random things, like the fireplaces inside that roof decor and I actually used some skill items and colored them white to make it look like it was engine stuff, lol.

    @CandySims14 , so good to hear from you and thank you for the lovely comments on my two recent builds. I had tried making a cruise ship a long time ago (before I even started uploading to the Exchange) and was excited to make another one, but this one was much bigger and grander. Great idea to make the Love Boat staff....if you do make them, I'd love to see Captain Stubing and Julie McCoy in sim form. I used to love that show (showing my age now, lol).

    @Cassee, thank you so much Ms. Cassee!! I was actually glad that my requester chose reds and golds for the color scheme, as I thought it worked well with the cruise ship look. Would you like to book an inside cabin or a balcony cabin? LOL

    SUSSEX MANOR, 12/23/18
    64x64 residential lot, built at 38 Aibell Ave. in Dragon Valley

    * PICTURE TOUR *

    This was a DNA request for @a_niles06 to build a house that would fit in with Dragon Valley, but yet she wanted modern amenities. I decided to go with a tudor revival style. It features 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, formal dining room, living room, kitchen with breakfast room, two fireplaces, a rec room, a children's playroom with reading loft, mudroom, laundry room, carport for two cars, large pool, covered porch, kids' play area, fire pit, and a small horse barn with one stall. (See original request here.)
