I have a question regarding a system requirement for a game on Origin, but I don't even have a clue to where I need to go to ask someone. I was looking through Origin's games and discovered that I can purchase My Sims. I haven't purchased it yet, I want to make sure that my computer is able to play it first. I am on a Windows 8.1 and was wondering if it can play this game. According to the information, this is the system requirement.

And I don’t know. Even the sims community’s “all sims games work on windows 10” (apparently a lie) article doesn’t mention it, just medieval.
Edit: apparently there’s no section here to discuss my sims at all. #justiceformysims
The listed Operating System requirements mean that you need a system on Windows XP (Service Pack 2), Windows Vista (Service Pack 1) or later.
These are pretty old (2004 and 2008 respectively) so very few people would need to worry about that.
Windows 8.1 should be more than enough for the game. It also has very modest hardware requirements by modern standards, so I don't foresee a problem with the system requirements.
If you ever have any questions or issues with hardware, you can ask over on Answers HQ, they can help with technical issues and questions there.
Thanks!
Thank you very much for this information, this was a HUGE help. I did attempt to get onto live chat, but was having technical difficulties...there was no place I could type in to chat with the person who came online to assist me.
