  It deleted all my progress. I paid lots for this game and am so sad. I will never forgive Sims 4.

  Hello @a_2
  Try checking to see if your Sims 4 save games are still in your saves folder. If they are still there, then one drive may have caused your issues.
  Do you use One Drive? If you do , try seeing if there is a sims 4 folder or saves folder in One Drive . The game may be using that Sims 4 folder instead of the correct one in Documents -Electronic Arts - sims 4 folder. . One Drive can cause issues.
  
  If you don’t use One Drive, try using the search bar on your computer , and search to see if there may be another extra Sims 4 folder or saves folder on your computer that the game is using instead of the one that is directly in the Documents -Electronic Arts folder .

  It would be good to try Rosemow's troubleshooting suggestions but failing that please visit the Sims 4 Tech issues section on Answers HQ and recreate this thread with some specifics about the issue you are encountering in Sims 4. I will close this thread as it's a Sims 3 specific thread and a bit of an old you've necro'd ^^.
