Chapter Length

Hey readers, This week I debuted KCLKF Second Edition. I introduced some changes so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out and ask.

I'm mostly interested in hearing what you think about the shorter chapters. Is it more manageable? I might have longer chapters in the future... because I'm wordy like that.

But I'm trying to keep it shorter this time for ya'all. Or is it annoying to break up the entire prologue into 5 parts? I won't be offended if you think so.

Hey @LegacySims2017. I saw your post in the Lounge and was trying to figure out my response. I'm still not quite sure what my plans are for including other Sims, but here goes.

I'm rewriting my original story but my plan was to avoid retaking screenshots. I have loads of extras leftover from my first two go arounds before data got corrupted. I plan to write through Story 1 (KCLKF) without new screenshots, just new material, and into Story 2 (I&S) and then filling in the blanks before retackling Story 3 (KFLL).

Kass's story series isn't a legacy but an ongoing mystery/ adventure/ slice of life series. I've got pretty detailed outlines for multiple plot lines I plan to explore. I suppose all this is to say, I'm not entirely sure yet where I'd fit new characters.

First, I appreciate the offer

, and second, I could possibly introduce a character without screenshots in KCLKF. I also have a whole gaping six months in I&S, that is, Interludes & Solitude, where Kass is traveling around country and then gets settled into college before KFLL (Kassiopeia and the Lost Legacy) starts.

Sorry if that's confusing and since you haven't read the stories (or at least, I don't think you have), I'm not sure if this makes sense to anyone but me.

I didn't really think through my statement in the Lounge. I was musing aloud.

I have several possibilities for new characters, but of course, I'm open to suggestion (if you're following all my convoluted thoughts here...). I'm happy to elaborate on characters and plot line or answer questions you might have. I could talk about Kass all day long.

(... and it's late here... so that might explain why I'm not making sense... Haha).

I've already rebooted. The current chapters I've been posting are part of the reboot so feel free to jump in whenever. It's been slow going because of other life things, and I'm taking my time a bit this time around. I'll let you know when I'm ready for new characters.

I suppose I should update in here as I haven't been around much recently. I finally completed my second job so now I'm only working one job and my evenings/weekends are free again. Huzzah! I've been posting Kass chapters about every 2 to 3 weeks (3 at a time), but hopefully I'll have some more time to post more regularly. A friend of mine (you may know her as Karleen in a certain other story of mine) reminded me that I'm writing first and foremost for me, and so I probably want an active thread, if only for my own self.

First, a new cover! (Revealed awhile ago... again, I'm behind here). Reflecting the main cast from KCLKF.

Third, today's chapter, the latest chapter, 1.22 Three Arguments and a Back-Up, and probably my favorite picture from the chapter. Andromeda, Andi, is always so kind and sweet and level-headed for the most part, but here, she's furious with Carina, her older sister. It's a rare look for her in game and in story. Enjoy!
