I like the idea -- I think the casino items from the Sims 3 Store would be quite popular. Instead of a new lot type though you could use a Bar venue. (I'd like to add a couple of slot machines to a few of my bars, and maybe convert my lounge performance area to a small casino in my The Old Salt House conversion.

I think that would be cool but sadly I don’t think they’d do it because they wouldn’t want to be seen as encouraging gambling (despite EA putting loot boxes in other games...)

They had gambling in TS2 and TS3 I don't see why they wouldn't in TS4.
I'd like a Viva Las Vegas pack or a Monte Carlo pack, both of which would center on gambling. I think either would be a great world to live in. Either would have the typical gambling with entertainment where our sim could be the performers (magicians would be added here). all you can eat buffets, etc,
There would be two or three huge hotels (these would need to be shells like apartments in CL) like Caesars Palace, the Flamingo, Circus Circus, etc. so the rooms could vary in price and size.
I also would like a rundown area with cheap hotels and old casinos with few patrons and bad food that might make you ill.
A casino could be cool. On one hand, me playing a video game of a video game character playing slots... seems almost too meta, like I could just cut out the middle man. On the other, designing a casino seems tempting. Plus Sims with gambler traits... hmm....
I wonder if they'd bring back strip poker? But maybe have it be like a costume poker lol where whenever you lose your sim puts on some weird hilarious costume.
A casion GP (gameplay items: slot machines, roulette table and blackjack table) would be great. I'd like to have a fancy world (Monaco!) I can send my Sims to. They could also live there in very expensive apartments. Add some first class jewelry and clothing and you have your GP.
I'd love to see a singing career in game, EA! You can't let the singing skill go to waste! My TS4 EPs: GTW, GT, CL, C&D, S, GF, IL, DU, EL, SE, CoL, HSY, GrT, HR, FR GPs: OR, SD, DO, V, P, JA, SV, RoM, DHD, MWS

I'd like to have two, LUCKY and UNLUCKY. Then one sim can be jealous of the other sim that always seams to come out ahead.
