Which would you get?

Hello fellow simmers,
I have a quick question. I am working on getting all content for sims 4 (not all but most). I have been buying stuff packs recently and just purchased vintage glamour (amazing stuff pack). Out of the following I haven’t bought but am somewhat interested in which would you pick?

-Spooky stuff (I have seasons)
-bowling stuff (least interested in this one)
-perfect patio stuff
-luxury party stuff

I refuse to buy mfp stuff and I’m not remotely interested in romantic garden stuff. Those are the only other two I don’t have.

Out of the ones I listed above. Which would you pick and why? I’ve looked at all items and can’t decide. Thanks for your input.

The only one of those I have is Perfect Patio, and I really like the patio furniture that comes with it. I also enjoy having hot tubs. If you're interested in more stuff your your outdoor areas, I would recommend it.

The only one I don't have is Bowling Night.

Of the other three, I find Luxury Party the least useful. My Sims don't "party" much.
Perfect patio would be good if you have the room on your lot to enjoy it.
I'm waiting to get Seasons, but when I do, I will be using Spooky MUCH more. Like I said, my Sims don't party much and I don't do cutsie, but I will be making exceptions. Seasons will give the atmosphere that is needed to actually feel like Halloween - I'm really looking forward to this!

Do you want something you keep year round or do you want something to give a whole lotta extra umpf to a special day each year? ;)

I don't have all the packs that you've listed. But the Spooky stuff is on my list because, since I have Seasons, I would like to have it for my 'Halloween' holiday.. :)

Personally I like bowling stuff the most out of those listed as I'm a family style player and I get the most use out of it gameplay wise. This surprised me as when I first heard about it I wasn't at all interested as I hate bowling in real life! However, it really depends on what you like. Spooky Stuff is probably one of my least favourite packs, purely because I don't get much use out of it, but of course it's nice on occasion for Halloween parties. Luxury Party is similarly good if you like having parties / weddings as it gives you the drink / chocolate fountain and party attire albeit rather garish imo. A lot of people really rate Perfect Patio, but it really is only hot tubs although the build items are nice.

Ooo you do make a good point about bowling stuff. I am a family player as well. I’m just worried I’d buy it and never use it. Is the bowling actually fun more than once? The CAS looks awesome.

And yeah hot tubs seem great but it is really all perfect patio has. I just have a hard time justifying the price of perfect patio I think which is why I’m on the fence about it. I feel the rest I listed are worth the price easily. But that one doesn’t have a ton overall. Am I wrong? Are hot tubs worth $10?

While I do like Perfect Patio, I should have mentioned that I wouldn't advise paying $10 for it (I got it in a bundle of Perfect Patio and Spa Day for $15). It's a nice pack, but not $10 worth of content, imo.

Regardless of whether you plan to bowl a lot or not, I adore the furniture in the bowling pack out of all the others. Short of that, Spooky Stuff would help flesh out some holiday deco for Seasons, but really most of the other packs are pretty average in furniture looks and such. Earlier packs tended to have similar feels to each other compared to later packs.

I used to hate the money I wasted on Bowling Night, but then they actually listened to our complaints about the bowling features and gave it a fresh coat of paint with the updates they gave to it - allowing sims to socialise while bowling, choosing between 3, 5, or 10 frame games, and making the bowling skill MUCH faster to skill up then the snail's pace it used to be. I am now satisfied with my purchase of it, and hope you'd find satisfaction in it too apart from the other packs up there. I have the others (except Perfect Patio; cannot justify wasting $10 on that one) and they are pretty niche and average in terms of gameplay value.

Of these 4 packs, I like bowling stuff the most because I really like the CAS and build items and I enjoy sending my sims on activities like bowling (or dining out). Perfect for dates or group outings. And as mentioned above, sims can now socialize while bowling. That was a game changer for this particular pack.
I also like spooky stuff but it really depends iIf you like the costumes and plan on giving a spooky party or celebrate Halloween if you own seasons. But I got it on sale at halloween last year.
Perfect Patio is ok, but it's one of the packs I don't use a lot in my game. It's nice to have but not very high on my list of SP's.
I don't own luxury party stuff and don't plan on buying it because I prefer SP's which offer new gameplay. And a new objects like the chocolate fountain add a new function but it does not equal actual gameplay in my opinion.

Any of them but Luxury Party would be a good choice so it really depends what you would get the most use of.... Halloween décor and costumes, hot tub and patio furniture or bowling and a older style of furniture.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

Spooky is my favorite stuff pack by a landslide, and I don’t even like nor celebrate Halloween, so that’s telling you something.

Wow thanks for the input guys. This is why I always ask the community. Reviews are great but they aren’t coming from people who play the different packs long term. It’s hilarious that every time I post on here I’m almost always convinced I need the one I was least likely going to buy. Get together was my first content purchase for the sims 4 and it was because of help from all of you that I was convinced I needed it, it is one of my favorites now. I didn’t really want it at first either.

So I think I’m gonna see if spooky stuff goes on a little sale in October before I buy it because it sometimes does. And I think I’ll get the other two later, either on sale or in a bundle down the line when new content starts coming out. And I’m going to get bowling stuff for now. After hearing your input that it’s actually enjoyable to send sims out bowling and after watching CAS and B.B. videos I’m convinced. Seems like it’s really worth the price. Thank you all for your help as always. I’m sure I’ll be back later down the line to ask about other content (even though I’m almost caught up to current now but I still like sales and bundles so I’ll get behind again I’m sure). Thanks again.

For me, Bowling Stuff has been the most useful. -- it's a good place to take Sims when the weather is bad. I'm thinking of doing a kid's bowling club with my current main family's eldest daughter. And the fails are really funny sometimes.

Still don't use Spooky Stuff that much even with Seasons. I do like the recipes and some of the Build items.

Perfect Patio: I really like the furniture (we actually got matching sofa/loueseat/shairs!) though I wish Sims would stay in the hot tub a bit longer.

I've built some really nice wedding venues with Luxury Party, and I like some of the outfits for partywear and the new recipes.

For me and my playstyle, Bowling Stuff works best for me. If you have GT you can add things like the foosball table, the big arcade game and the dartboard for an arcade area.

Luxury Party CAS is gorgeous, I find myself using it a lot more than I expected.
Bowling Night imho has the best forniture.
Spooky Stuff is really fun to play, although halloween doesn't happen every other week unless you want it.
Perfect Patio blends really well with day-to-day game. It's like it should've been in the base game hahaha Just saying.

My first choice would be Bowling Stuff, then Perfect Patio Stuff.

I have both luxury party and patio stuff. I personally enjoy the CAS options in luxury party and regularly use them. I wasnt planning on buying perfect patio for awhile until i saw that it came with a GP on sale while I was at Target months ago. Im glad I did. I tend to use this SP when Im in the mood to build. Alot of the furniture is neat! Plus hot tub woohoos!

For me.. well I need them all and frankly it's hard to put them in order since I use something from all of them pretty frequently...
Bowling well I love midcentury style and retro style and it has something more for Sims to go out and do.
Perfect Patio because yes hot tubs and I like the counters quite a bit for masculine/modern homes and the bar matches. More swimsuits.
Luxury Party for banquet tables both for setting lots of player made food on or just filling up for a party or a space saver. I put potions on it frequently.. new recipes and some CAS.
Spooky would still be last for me but if I was a big family player it might be higher on the list. Extra costumes, creepy floors and walls otherwise cutesy halloween stuff. Oh and the candy bowl duh...

If I had to choose it would be luxury party stuff first because I love the flashy shiny suits and gowns. My aliens wears them the most. The buffet table and the cheese/chocolate/punch fountain is a nice setting for many venues and of course home. I use everything in that pack. I like Spooky Stuff as well. I have an apothecary retail where a few items are used. Then I have the Goth's and vampires that uses items from Spooky Stuff. I use the cas outfits for the NPC's that work at one of the restaurants.

Out of all the options listed, I would buy perfect patio stuff first! I am new to the Sims 4 but the PP SP looks promising for my family-style gameplay.

Of the ones you mentioned, I have perfect patio and spooky stuff. I recommend both, but I would get perfect patio first! I use the items more than from spooky stuff (I also have seasons!), but both are great packs

I actually love Luxury Party & Bowling Night. Not a fan of Spooky Stuff at all.
