Hello fellow simmers,
I have a quick question. I am working on getting all content for sims 4 (not all but most). I have been buying stuff packs recently and just purchased vintage glamour (amazing stuff pack). Out of the following I haven’t bought but am somewhat interested in which would you pick?
-Spooky stuff (I have seasons)
-bowling stuff (least interested in this one)
-perfect patio stuff
-luxury party stuff
I refuse to buy mfp stuff and I’m not remotely interested in romantic garden stuff. Those are the only other two I don’t have.
Out of the ones I listed above. Which would you pick and why? I’ve looked at all items and can’t decide. Thanks for your input.

Of the other three, I find Luxury Party the least useful. My Sims don't "party" much.
Perfect patio would be good if you have the room on your lot to enjoy it.
I'm waiting to get Seasons, but when I do, I will be using Spooky MUCH more. Like I said, my Sims don't party much and I don't do cutsie, but I will be making exceptions. Seasons will give the atmosphere that is needed to actually feel like Halloween - I'm really looking forward to this!
Do you want something you keep year round or do you want something to give a whole lotta extra umpf to a special day each year?
Ooo you do make a good point about bowling stuff. I am a family player as well. I’m just worried I’d buy it and never use it. Is the bowling actually fun more than once? The CAS looks awesome.
And yeah hot tubs seem great but it is really all perfect patio has. I just have a hard time justifying the price of perfect patio I think which is why I’m on the fence about it. I feel the rest I listed are worth the price easily. But that one doesn’t have a ton overall. Am I wrong? Are hot tubs worth $10?
While I do like Perfect Patio, I should have mentioned that I wouldn't advise paying $10 for it (I got it in a bundle of Perfect Patio and Spa Day for $15). It's a nice pack, but not $10 worth of content, imo.
I also like spooky stuff but it really depends iIf you like the costumes and plan on giving a spooky party or celebrate Halloween if you own seasons. But I got it on sale at halloween last year.
Perfect Patio is ok, but it's one of the packs I don't use a lot in my game. It's nice to have but not very high on my list of SP's.
I don't own luxury party stuff and don't plan on buying it because I prefer SP's which offer new gameplay. And a new objects like the chocolate fountain add a new function but it does not equal actual gameplay in my opinion.
So I think I’m gonna see if spooky stuff goes on a little sale in October before I buy it because it sometimes does. And I think I’ll get the other two later, either on sale or in a bundle down the line when new content starts coming out. And I’m going to get bowling stuff for now. After hearing your input that it’s actually enjoyable to send sims out bowling and after watching CAS and B.B. videos I’m convinced. Seems like it’s really worth the price. Thank you all for your help as always. I’m sure I’ll be back later down the line to ask about other content (even though I’m almost caught up to current now but I still like sales and bundles so I’ll get behind again I’m sure). Thanks again.
For me, Bowling Stuff has been the most useful. -- it's a good place to take Sims when the weather is bad. I'm thinking of doing a kid's bowling club with my current main family's eldest daughter. And the fails are really funny sometimes.
Still don't use Spooky Stuff that much even with Seasons. I do like the recipes and some of the Build items.
Perfect Patio: I really like the furniture (we actually got matching sofa/loueseat/shairs!) though I wish Sims would stay in the hot tub a bit longer.
I've built some really nice wedding venues with Luxury Party, and I like some of the outfits for partywear and the new recipes.
For me and my playstyle, Bowling Stuff works best for me. If you have GT you can add things like the foosball table, the big arcade game and the dartboard for an arcade area.
Fun must be always -- Tomas Hertl (San Jose Sharks hockey player)
Bowling Night imho has the best forniture.
Spooky Stuff is really fun to play, although halloween doesn't happen every other week unless you want it.
Perfect Patio blends really well with day-to-day game. It's like it should've been in the base game hahaha Just saying.

Bowling well I love midcentury style and retro style and it has something more for Sims to go out and do.
Perfect Patio because yes hot tubs and I like the counters quite a bit for masculine/modern homes and the bar matches. More swimsuits.
Luxury Party for banquet tables both for setting lots of player made food on or just filling up for a party or a space saver. I put potions on it frequently.. new recipes and some CAS.
Spooky would still be last for me but if I was a big family player it might be higher on the list. Extra costumes, creepy floors and walls otherwise cutesy halloween stuff. Oh and the candy bowl duh...
