I'm not sure if this is the right place for this. But I just figured out that I could use this bed, this divider, and a wall to put hay bales in my barn. Not perfect, but it's the best I've been able to figure out so far. You have to start the first bed under the floor and raise it. The rest is self explanatory, I think.

I suppose I'll add a tutorial I made about making a pond with a bridge. It is perfect if you want to make an Asian garden, or if you just want to add a bit of nature to any lot in your game.
Full tutorial in the spoilers
Step 1: Start by activating bb.moveobjects on and making the 2 halves of the pond, leaving a gap between them. This will serve as your bridge / walkway.
Step 2: Add a foundation in between the two halves of your pond. You can adjust the height of the foundation based on your preference, though I would suggest a fair bit of height to reduce clipping issues later on. For the other parts of the bridge, simply apply floor tiles to the ground without placing a foundation first.
Step 3: Paint the side of your foundation, and add stairs, railing, and fences. This will serve as your bridge.
Step 4: Paint the bridge and pond floor to your liking.
Step 5: Now we'll start making the side of the pond. I would suggest loosely staggering rocks on the edge of the pond, as well as placing a few on the bottom of the pond near the edges. This will give a layered appearance that will look much more natural in the end product.
Step 6: Place plants to fill in the gaps left between the rocks. You can change up the plants to give it a more organic feel.
Step 7: Keep working along the edges of the pond, until you reach the other end of your bridge.
Step 8: Now we make the waterfall to simulate water running underneath the bridge. You can do this by closely packing spraying fountains next to each other.
Step 9: Cover up your fountain heads using a combination of rocks and plants. The idea is to hide the foundation used for the bridge so that it looks hollow underneath.
Step 10: Now plant lily pads and algae clumps on the water. I find putting the algae near the base of the waterfall adds to a natural look.
Step 11: Soften the edges by applying a thin band of terrain paint. I'd suggest using a mud colored paint for this.
Step 12: Now do this for the other half of your pond. You can make both sides as asymmetrical as you want, but I would suggest generally keeping the types of plants similar so it doesn't look like two completely different ponds.
Step 12a: You can even add an additional waterfall off to the side if you want.
Step 13: You can add some bamboo plants if you're going for the Asian garden look. You can resize them by using the bracket keys, and remember to plant them in clumps to resemble how bamboo naturally grows. I like to use variety of plant sizes for each clump.
Thankyou very much for creating the tutorial about how to make a pond with a bridge and for posting it here on this thread! It will be helpful for knowing how to do it in our builds. Thankyou so very much! I have posted a link to your tutorial post on the first page of this thread.

Want to make your lot in The Sims 4 creepy by adding some fog? Watch the video to get some useful lifehack! (Get Together required)
Hello @chealsycat Thankyou very much for posting your very helpful tutorial video on adding fog . It will be great fot simmers ti watch your video, then add fog to their build. I have posted a link to it on the first page of this thread .
Thankyou for your thoughtfulness in creating this video!
Honestly, I didn't really take the time to look through EVERY post on here. But, does anyone have any ideas for how to make a floor look like a mirror? I'm trying to create a house inspired by the mansion from Stephen King's Rose Red and I want to try to keep is similar in design (since the "ever changing" shape isn't something I can replicate). That being said, for those who don't know anything about the house, the floor of the library is one huge mirror. I'd love to replicate that but I don't know how since there obviously isn't a chrome or mirror finish option in flooring.
@ TheDismalSimmer That bridge over a pond is stunning!! It makes me want one in the new gardening community lot I am planning to build next week. Thank you so very much for sharing your tutorial. I came into this thread looking for some building tips and have seen so many cool ideas my head is spinning. So I thank all of you clever Simmers for taking the time to share with us lesser souls. LOL
THIS IS SO HELPFUL! I've been wondering how some simmers in speed builds did the corner floor tiles so fast! I've been taking SO many unnecessary steps. hah
