Vet clinic always dirty

Yesterday, for the first time, I had my sims start a vet clinic. To start off with, it was just an examination table and a sign in machine thing with no walls, ceiling or floor. At that point, my sims were not complaining the surroundings were dirty.

When they had earned some more money, I built walls, put in a ceiling and a floor. This is when the trouble began. Even after cleaning up puddles, vomit and whatnot on the floor my sims persistently had the “unpleasant surroundings” moodlet. I scoured the room in my attempts to find the source of the problem, but to no avail.

In the end, I bulldozed the lot. This intitially seemed to work as the unpleasant surroundings moodlet disappeared. So, I built the clinic again on the same lot. But, as soon as they stepped through the door the unpleasant surroundings dings moodlet returned.

There’s no dirt in the lot. No food or fish or vegetables or anything like that in their inventories. Also no fish on the lot.

Why is this happening and how do I get rid of the moodlet? Resetting the sims does not work.

I have no mods except mccc and no cc.

What is your sim's traits? The reason I ask is because of certain traits that one of my sims had, she was even repulsed by the fish tank, even an empty fish tank would set her off. I couldn't even take her to a restaurant because she was always grossed out by the environment.

@LaBlue0314 one of them is a vegetarian, hotheaded and romantic. The other is a goofball, childish and squeamish. I know that squeamish sims are ultra sensitive to things like dirt or fish. But, there’s no dirt and also no fish either inside the clinic or in their inventories. And, even the non-squeamish sim is thinking the place is dirty when it’s not. Think I might just quit the vet business to be honest as this is making my sims always uncomfortable at work.

There's lots of stickers on the walls because I thought maybe lack of decoration was the issue haha

I found your problem. It is your exam tables, to get the negative moodlet to go away, change them out for the better exam table. I tested this three times, to make sure. But that is what is causing the negative moodlet. The problem started when the second one was added.

Trying to be cheap are we?

I didn't even know the cheaper versions of the exam table would set off an uncomfortable moodlet; that's good to know for later...

I think it's pretty cool that they added this little feature to those cheaper exam tables.
