Gnomes stay forever in the apartment hallway

Since we cannot build in apartment hallways, there are 2 gnomes in the hallway for a pretty long time now. it's already winter in my game and their time should have been passed. I don't think they will ever leave. I deleted the ones in my apartment, but these two.. impossible.
Would be better if they fix this, cause its pretty annoying.

I really hope they eventually give us the ability to fix that, and the areas in the world you can't doing anything about now.

I had that happen in my game once. I couldn't delete the gnomes from the hallway because the hallway is not editable, so what I did was create a random holiday, added the gnomes traditions and waited for the gnomes to teleport from the hallway back into the apartment, and once they did, I deleted them in build/buy mode. You can try that and see if it works.
