Mystery weather in Oasis Springs in fall.
It began sunny but cool.
Then the rain started.
But not just any rain, it was a sunshower.
In the afternoon, the weather told cold again, and the snow appeared.
Dinnertime, and the rain is back, with a vengeance, thunder and lightning and all. A cold, windy rain that would last until midnight. I'm apparently not fast enough to catch lightning flashes.
@cind3r3lla You got lucky with the proposal! There's been a glitch since the Seasons patch that causes sims to reject proposals.
Oh wow.. that explains so much! I've had two very broken hearted Sims recently, and could not figure out why they were being rejected (good/flirty moods and full relationship bars).
Anyway.. my Sim has been working on the photography skill, and the winter weather has made for some lovely photos!
Lightening strike. Too cool that I got this on camera. Thunderstorms are marvelous in this game. I just saw my first today, been taking my time playing around.

HA! Just when I thought the game was getting exciting and Sims were actually starting to pay attention to traits more. My one noncommittal male sim discussed his fear of commitment but still wanted to marry the female sim. When he proposed even though they were in a flirty mood and full romance bar, she said no. He literally proposed twice and she said no. I was like wow, never seen that before, impressive. I decided to let them raise their child together but not get married. Now I learn it is a bug...lovely.
Just got Seasons, so I started with Autumn.

@KayosCatalyst I'd help you pick, but it looks like you're playing Not So Berry, so you have to choose based on looks alone since they all have the same traits regardless. Normally, I'd say to pick the one who gets married first, but I'm pretty sure the generation you're on either doesn't have marriage until much later or not at all. This challenge is very restricting, so you can probably see why I haven't played it now.
the obvious answer is to have another daughter named hessonite! ...not that i use that gemstone as a name in several games (and before stephen universe created theirs). or caledonite, or vivianite or... others. happy to see someone else that uses gems for names, though! (..and especially avoids the connotations often associated with a female character named 'ruby')

These trees don't look so pretty anymore three weeks into fall.
And facing the other way, the lake and canal are starting to freeze over the day after the first snowfall.
First a nice family tofurkey dinner.
After midnight, the family went outside to light fireworks.
Then Dan proposed to Zoey, and she said yes!

Really? I didn't know that
