Can't search for "vampire" on the Exchange

Really? Is "vampire" suddenly a bad word that has to be censored on the Exchange? Then why is it that I can do a google search, and come up several items with "vampire" in the title that are on the Exchange? (None of which are usable for me, which is why I wanted to do the search directly on the Exchange.)
I've never had a problem searching on something before, so this is rather irritating. Particularly since vampires are a sim occult state that's core to the game, so there shouldn't be any censorship to it.
Then again, EA censors the word "booty", and they have an item in their own store with that name.

As for Sims, I have learned not to download Sims from the Exchange, since a lot of people use CC. You can't really tell what the Sim will look like without the CC until you strip it of the CC and then bring it in your game. Since that sort of defeats the purpose, I've learned just to make my own Sims, even though I know there are better creators out there.
Every time I try to search the Exchange for lots and use the keyword "vampire", I get an annoying Liam error:
"Oops!
We are not able to process your request."
It would be interesting to see if you can do the same search for vampires when selecting lots and not Sims, and can do it successfully. I'm betting you'll get the same error I'm getting. Since keyword searches are supposed to search on any word used in the description - and I'm positive that there are many builds out there that use that word in the description - there is no reason why the search should NOT work. The fact that it gets the error means that EA did something deliberately to block it, and I would like to know why.

I just did a look and found this house built by Hidehi. The house was built on a 28x22 with 3 bedroom - one with a crib and one with a vamp in mind.

I know you don't you don't have 60x60 or 64x64 lots listed as what you want but I will list them anyhow just in case the creators might havr other lots built for vampires in mind...

Yeah, it's @Rflong7 's Supernatural World that I'm trying to fill up. I think I ended up filling all the lots in that area except for two lots. Axom's Lair would fit into the smaller one. I haven't decided whether I want to make the larger lot residential or commercial yet, so I'm leaving it alone for now. While a really good castle would look nice there, I'm thinking that I don't really want another residential lot there, so I may put in an amusement park... if I can find one that I think fits the world.
It's an absolutely gorgeous world, and Rflong has done some really interesting thing with different special effects in each area, like fog throughout the vampire area but nowhere else (I have no idea HOW she did that - I'm going to guess some sort of fog emitters, but fog emitters which then can't be seen on the lots that are placed on the area is something I don't understand), which means that as you travel from one area to another, you can really tell that you're in a different area.
@Hidehi's lots are all gorgeous, and I used almost all of them. I think there was one I didn't use, although I don't recall why.
I eventually found that searching on "gothic" would bring up builds that had the right kinds of styles, although it also brought up many builds that were inappropriate for that area. It meant I had to search through a bunch more to find anything I might want to use. A couple of my own builds came up with it, and I know those wouldn't work at all in that world.
I still have to wonder how EA set up the search function on the Exchange, though. I've programmed database search functions before, and it seems to me that it would work most effectively to search using whatever key words the user entered in both the title field and description field of the build. Otherwise, what exactly is it searching on? How is it defining the key words for a build, if the key words aren't words within those fields? Whoever did that programming job seems to have done a rather clumsy job of it.

Yeah, RFlong is very creative with the CAW tool and has turned out some very impressive worlds. I have her Winter Wonderland world, Haunted Valley II. And now I'm getting ready to install her Supernatural world so that I can give it a try. I like worlds like this as I'm a fan of the SN EP as well as books and movies...
I had ended up typing in Vampire Homes as I didn't think about typing in Gothic but I'm glad that you found what you're looking for. And I will admit that when I was looking through what I had found that I was trying my best to find ones that had dark themes to the small thumbnails.
I'm not sure if you've seen this one but I have on my favorites list. It's on a 40x40 lot called "The Darklands" by drslimi.
