Hello everyone! I'm so sorry for the late late reply here. My temp job is coming to an end and I'm using all my free time to find a more permanent position. Fingers crossed that'll happen soon so I can fully return to my usual simming ways soon!
Thank you so much @rosemow for all your kind and thoughtful comments! I had so much fun creating all the football themed thingies while the Belgian team was doing so well in the World Cup! Thank you as well for your congrats on their third place finish!
Lolz, I know exactly how you feel @AIRIS6962 ! Seems like I can never catch up with all things new on the forum and the all kinds of wonderful everyone is creating. Yep, Belgian here. Hehe, Belgium has always had a special thing for Spain, it's still the most popular destination for holidays as well as for expats. Been there quite a few times myself, and I can see why that is. Haha, your comment about Noah totally floored me, thanks for the great laugh!
Thank you so much @masajo for your awesome comment! I always appreciate your wonderful feedback, it never fails to make my day!
Thank you so much @BreeMiles for your frequent visits and checking out what's new!
Aaw, thank you so much @SurfChicCreation ! I wasn't sure my idea for the patio would work out, but then I thought, oh what the heck, let's just have fun with it! Thank you as well for your wonderful comments on the Gallery (including all the thrown shoes and footballs hehe ). It's always such a joy to participate in one of your awesome challenges!
Hey neighbour @illusie ! I thought I had read somewhere that you were from The Netherlands somewhere, but wasn't sure whether I remembered correctly. Thank you so much for all your awesome comments and support!
Thank you so much @Dangerous12Angel ! It's been a while, hope you've been well! Thank you for your super sweet comments!
Hi @fuzgirl65 ! So good to see you on the forum now as well! Thank you so much for your wonderful and sweet comments! So glad to hear you liked Bellefleur Flower Farm, that was so much fun to build.
Hi @RethaSim ! Yup, still playing, whenever I find the time! It's good to see you here on the forum as well, and hehe, totally know what you mean about following too many people. But then again, it is also so much fun. Thank you so much for your visit and see you around!
Had a few uploads that I hadn't shared here yet, so here they are!

We sure do know how to celebrate our heroes! The Belgian national football team was celebrated in a big way when they returned from the World Cup last month:
Hello everyone! Yay, got another build to show! This one was for a challenge in the Build-n-Share topic here on the forum. The challenge was to build a tiny house with no more than 25 tiles of living space. It also had to stay within a starter budget (20.000 Simoleons), including the lot price. It was also required to be build on a 20x15 lot. The description for the challenge always has a client describing what they would like in their house, and for this one, the client was none other than Faith from the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one of my alltime favourite programs, so I really couldn't resist throwing in a last minute entry. I also build the house with her character in mind. The result is a slightly grungy, urban lot with a touch of grime and purple lolz. There's amongst others a gardening spot with already some garlic plants in place (cause you know, vampire slaying ), a workout spot for training, a computer and bookcase for research and all the basic ammenities a slayer would need to survive (kitchen, tv, bathroom, bed nook).
Picture time!
The exterior:
Floorplan:
That's it, count them, 25 tiles of interior living space.
Now let's head inside, first up the kitchen:
The bednook, bookcase, dresser with tv on to watch while in bed and the door to the back porch:
There's a comfy sofa to eat (cause no room for an indoor eating place ) , the door to the tiny bathroom and a little computer nook by the front door:
The aforementioned sofa in front of a little wall hiding away the kitchen sink. There's also a laundry basket and a trashcan tucked in on the side of the kitchen. And yup, all playtested, it all works.
The bathroom is so tiny I couldn't take a clear picture inside, so I'll do it from the top:
Different seasons! How the lot looks at the end of fall (with the first snow already falling):
Purple Grunge Starter is a very nice 5x5 home! The brick texture of the walls gives a great look and feel to the home. The slanted roofing looks great! The purple touches in the build looks very nice. Very nice outdoors areas. It is great that there is an outdoors wash tub and clothes line for washing and drying clothes in the sunshine and fresh air. Nice gardening nook for Sims to enjoy growing plants in the gardening boxes. It is great that garlic is being grown there now. They will enjoy cooking meals on the bbq and eating outdoors at the picnic table. The row of lavendar flowers are a nice touch. The enlarged truck looks great in the build! Sims will enjoy using the punching bag in the corner nook to keep fit. Very nice layout and furnishing of the interior! You have used the limited space very well! It looks great the way the half wall separates off the kitchen. The hanging herbs are a nice touch on the kitchen wall. The bed nook is great! The book shelf looks great on the wall at the foot of the bed. Sims will enjoy relaxing on the sofa watching tv or reading a book. The folded clothes are a great home touch on the dresser. Nice computer nook for Sims to enjoy sitting at the table using the computer. The heart teddy is a cute touch there! The basketball poster looks great on the study desk nook wall and the posters on the other walls add a great look to the home. The tissues and toothbrushes on the bed nook shelving are nice home touches. The home looks very nice in the Wintery photos !
It is a very nice small home!
The Build-n-Share challenge I built the Purple Grunge Starter for also came with a Sim challenge, so I couldn't help trying my best to recreate Faith from the Buffy tv show. She doesn't really look like actress Eliza Dushku, but oh well, hope at least her character came through. She was my inspiration for the Purple Grunge Starter and a lot of the interior design and decorating decisions I took from her (you may notice a continuing purple trend here lolz ).
More pictures:
Outfits:
And here's Faith playtesting her new humble abode. I'll post a picture of each of her outfits, the rest are under the spoiler, because it would be a total picture overload otherwise.
Everyday outfit: Doing some vampire research:
Formal outfit: Last minute finishing touch-ups in the bathroom before going to a fancy party:
Athletic outfit: getting the gloves on for a decent boxing workout:
Sleep wear: One more story before bedtime:
Party wear: texting her friends where the party's at tonight:
Swim wear: Enjoying a moment in the sun:
Hot weather outfit: Baking burgers:
Cold Weather outfit: Making snow angels:
And many more:
And this is where we leave Faith to her slaying business.
Your simversion of Faith is very nice! The purple colour scheme of her clothing looks very nice. It is a great picture of her enjoying making snow angels. I don’t watch the show so don’t know about Faith but she looks a very nice sim
Eldur Carthago aka New Gallery Guy Eldur Gallery Link
Time to bring this place up to date with my Gallery. A while back I was surprised when I opened my game to see a new Gallery in place. Browsing around, I noticed both positive and negative elements compared to the old one, so I created two spokespersons to highlight what I liked and disliked about the new Gallery.
Eldur was the one who got to bring the positive news. Here's what he had to say: Hello everyone, it's been a while, hope you are all doing well! :-) Sooo, new #Gallery eh? #Eldur is an optimist, so let's look at the positives. He likes that the gallery seems to be more stable now, making it easier to browse larger catalogs. And yay, more room for messages/posts in uploads, loving that! Sim by #Corwim, poses by #KassSimsDesign.
As time went on, I noticed more problems with the gallery (like not always being as stable as I would like), so I'm more on board with my next sim Imri now. But ironically, Eldur was the one who got a humongous amount of downloads and my more critical sim did not lolz.
Imri Carthago aka New Gallery Guy Imri Gallery Link
Sooo, now to the more critical sim about the new Gallery lol. In addition to what I noticed back then, I do hope the Gurus will also look at a few other problems I encountered since then, like filters not working and Favs disappearing. They are working on it though, so let's hope we'll soon have a fun and wonderful Gallery to enjoy!
What Imri had to say: #Imri is a #PopStar wannabe with a #SelfAssured, yet #Erratic #Attitude who is not afraid to speak his mind. ;-) So new #Gallery. Hm, why does it have to open on the most popular downloads, why does the 'News' section still doesn't have filters, and oh boy, that all-white layout is hurting Imri's piercing blue eyes. :-P Just his two cents of feedback. ;-) Sim by #Corwim, poses #Vanderetro.
More pictures:
Outfits (Imri has two everyday outfits, one for his popstar career, and a more normal one for regular days )
I always love getting surprised when an update brings free new content, and oh boy, did I love what the Sims team added this time around! Also, lately when I'm making a sim I find my head going in two directions. Instead of choosing, I usually end up making both sims lolz, so here's another two for the price of one haha.
Loooove this new hairstyle, the new stubble and the new outfits! Alex features most of those, and therefore ended up requiring only basegame content. He's the more serious of the two Bontemps brothers, and is planning a career as a football player.
The story of these two brothers: #Alex and #Stephan may be #Brothers, #Twins even, and sport the same hair style (cause it is simply awesome! :-) ), they are two very different guys. Alex is driven to make something of his life and become the world's best football player. Stephan also likes to play the field, but he ain't thinking about footballs if you catch my drift. ;-) So be careful deciding who you let into your game. :-) Sim by #Corwim, poses by #KassSimsDesign.
