Love this off-the-grid idea!! But I would love for more furniture to be compact friendly, or an actual interactive camper where we can customize the color of the furniture within.
This year I've been doing a LOT of starting-at-(almost)-zero playthroughs, and Seasons has made that even more challenging AND fun!
So something I'd like to see would be solar-power options. Maybe start with solar panels, and then go into more Sim-like stuff like showers and sinks that don't require water. (Yeah, I know that's not realistic-- but after all, this is Simlandia!)

@elainemcfg -- those are great ideas. I think solar panels are on there but if not I will add them for sure. Showers and sinks without water is a new idea and I like it!
If there could be some sort of new animation for a Sim to get a Bucket of water from a fishing hole- that would be great..Now because we have seasons a Sim can shower in the rain- we still need our Sims to be able to go in to the water- if not to swim to Maybe Bathe..A working water pump instead of a sink would be wonderful..I am not sure if its asking too much for a world/neighborhood That was empty - that could be used for challenges like Murkland and Rags to Riches and others that start one off with nothing- ..
Thank you @Brennachan for opening this up again for ideas !
I still have many ideas.
I have to think on this again..

As a mostly off-the grid player, I would love to see a pack centered on "Natural Living," which could be a broad term for Eco-friendly gameplay as well as outdoorsy things to do. It could also include crafts and self-employment options. I've listed some of my ideas and will add items to the list, if folks respond to thread!
Some ideas I have:
*Rabbit Hole Camper/Trailer where sims can sleep and take care of hygiene and maybe have a snack
*Hot Springs were sims can relax and increase hygiene

I am affraid that I agree!
All those are wonderful ideas, I can´t think more. I love specially the ones related to stuff making for selling and cows, pigs, hens ( Could you add horses? )
YES YES YES!!!
I love playing with sims off the grid and most of my sims have the "love outdoors" trait.
I dream with such a pack!
I want everything that has been suggested and would like to add to the list the hability for kids to help with the garden. They could weed, water, and harvest plants with a teen+ with them. It'd be so cute!
Origin ID is: AlbaWaterhouse
All my creations are CC free.
I have thought of more: The ability of children to Play in the dirt, Not just make a mess- the way they play in the book case but with the child getting dirty, for toddlers and Children...The ability for a Sim to wash them selves by the sink,( not just their hands, their body ).. A Backpack accessory for all, Child through elder...A Walking stick- child through elder...
Ok, we are entering into dark territory here - make an accessory of an old fashioned Gas mask...A HVAC ( Hazmat suit ) suit..A dividing rod to find water , Moving tumble weeds..Old rusty Pick up truck, We do make the vehicles larger from toys, so How about Old looking, worn, used toys...A Robot, maybe originally a toy - that could be made larger to use, or a Old looking robot, - adults can build then they would act like the Sims 3 Bonehilda ( cleaning teaching animals tricks, looking after the baby. Although my Bonehilda usually got in the way of my Sim taking care of the baby )..
Broken doors, Broken windows- broken walls..

I did address bathing in a sink for sims with a certain trait -- like a hippie trait. I recall in SIms 3 you could do that with the slob trait and I would definitely like that back -- it would come in useful for all kinds of game play including tiny house living.

I wouldn't want farming in with this because I want machinery and that isn't off-grid/eco friendly. I would want a farm pack done right and I'm sure it wouldn't be if it was combined with eco living. There are many farmers, but they aren't eco friendly, except in the ox plow days. Oxen might be a neat animal for off grid.
I would like: well to gather water
way to cook over fire-cauldron straw to sleep on-just thought of this one
Really love the stationary bus and quilt making-haven't seen them asked for. Would love the cot, hammock, sleeping bag, & pallet options for beds. Rag dolls would be really sweet. Canning, sewing, candle making, soap making, and basket weaving would be awesome skills and items for us to use and sell.
@davina1221 -- true, there are A LOT of ideas in here since I opened it to everyone to put in their two cents. I don't think all of this could go into one pack and I really don't mind getting a bunch of this stuff in different packs. So yes, a farm/country pack would be great and doesn't not necessarily lend itself to eco-living, just as a lot of the grungier ideas could lend themselves to a dystopian/post-apocalyptic pack.
Love the idea of straw to sleep on. A well is great and I think it's on the list, but if not I'll add it. A way to cook more than just hot dogs and marshmallows and bugs on an open fire would be so neat.
I think it would be neat to have alternative farm animals such as goats instead of cows, possibly pigeons for eggs instead of chickens (or silkie chickens) a dairy churn for making stuff from the goat milk. An ability to grow organic foods would be a neat way to make more money too. I'd also like for them to bring wine making back!

@Dexter -- great ideas! I think nectar making is on the list already. I want that so much too! Goat milk would be fun -- maybe the goats could tend the garden too.
