In Brindleton Bay, Gabriella's house has had some changes in the floor plan. They've built a new living room next to the dining room, across from the kitchen.
The parents have larger bedroom with a proper office space for Aleksander's writing.
There's also a new living room upstairs with activities like instruments, games and an easel.
The terrace and garden has finally got some furniture.
Terje is still going steady with Uma, and they spend as much time together as they can.
They can't wait to grow up and are making lots of plans for their future.
The vet clinic is doing great, they make a good profit and have a 4,5 star rating. It's the preferred clinic for family and strangers alike.
They are a bit unsure about their new employee, though. She doesn't seem too attentive to the customers, and keeps have conversations with the furniture at all times. Maybe they have to find someone else?
It's summer in the Bay, and when Gabriella and Aleksander come home from the clinic this afternoon they find the children in the garden where they have assembled the water slide.
The parents decide to join in the fun.
There is a heat wave on, and the lighting is gorgeous.
Before she heads inside to make dinner, Gabriella gives their new bees some attention. They seem to like her and they give some good honey!
The next morning is a hard one for Gabriella the cat lover.
Kari is aging up today, and they are preparing the birthday party in the dining room as planned. The kids help each other get some school work done before the guests arrive.
Aunt Ronja is here to celebrate, and they have a nice meal together. But Gabriella doesn't manage to hide her sadness at Zoey's passing.
Summer is coming to an end in San Myshuno, and some things have happened during this season. Beatrice has moved in with Derek in Oasis Springs, and Pablo has moved in. He is an art critic, so he will be able to give Marte some good advice in her comedy career.
He is also a vegetarian, and has taught her some delicious new recipes.
And what's this, Marco is helping a toddler slide? After some thinking he decided that dating someone with a toddler isn't so bad, and he likes Julissa too much to dump her just because she's a mother.
Marte and Pablo are on a summer vacation together in San Myshuno, and are staying at a bed&breakfast in the middle of the village. They enjoy hanging out at the bar downstairs talking to the locals. There is also an amazing restaurant nearby where they try out their first Selvadoradian food.
Marte was here with her family when she was a little girl, but then she didn't care much for the food or culture. It's time to discover the place again with her boyfriend!
Right when they have the perfect romantic moment in the sunset by the water, the two lovebirds discover that they have both been infected with something that gives them bizarre skin rashes.
A good time for a selfie! And to take some medicine.
Marte is still feeling a bit strange after recovering from the sickness, and the first thing she does when they get home is take a pregnancy test. And sure enough! She and Pablo are going to have a baby. So now the two of them are turning Bea's old room into a nursery and reading about parenting to prepare.
They are also working hard to earn as much money as possible for the baby. Here Pablo is doing a work assignment at the art center.
Things have settled down a bit since the arrival of the baby. Marco hasn't experienced any issues with living in the same apartment as a baby, he's generally become quite fond of children. He loves to play with Julissa's daughter, but he likes to be alone with his girlfriend as well.
Their relationship is getting pretty serious, and Marco is starting to the get the feeling that he's ready to settle down soon.
Marte is working again after her maternity leave, and is having some success with her comedy gigs.
This Newcrest restaurants is one of her usual venues.
One of the things he wants to do while he's here, is get some closure with Ofelia. He never actually broke up with her, and the little contact they've had shows that she's still hopeful. He wants to tell her in a proper and honest way, face to face, that it's over between them, that he's found someone else.
He's just going to skate with her for a bit first. In his favorite park, for old time's sake.
And play on the swings.
And have a snack in the dust storm.
By the end of the evening, Marco is completely absorbed in his old life and feels like he never left. And why would he ever want to end things with Ofelia? It suddenly feels like he has always belonged to her and never known any other love.
Later he meets Ofelia again, this time for a proper dinner date.
They are happier than ever and can't wait to start over. Before traveling back to San Myshuno, Marco makes sure to say goodbye for now in his typical over-the-top romantic manner.
Back in the apartment it's time for Rebecca to age up to toddler! Marte and Pablo are throwing a little family party for her.
Marco has worked up the courage to break up with Julissa.
He feels genuinely sad about this, and has obviously become a lot more mature lately. Which also means that he know what he wants, and is certain this is the right thing to do.
Gabriella's family is spending the day in the garden, everyone is helping with the raking and gardening. Kari as a teenager seems to be the one who resembles Gabriella the most out of the three children.
We're a long way into autumn now and the air is getting colder, so burning the leaf piles provides some nice heat.
Once the children are all off to other activities and the parents are alone in the garden, they can think of another way to set the leaf piles on fire.
In the afternoon they meet up with some family and neighbors on the beach to socialize. It's national "Go outside"-day, and it's tradition to spend the day outdoors going hiking, fishing, camping or just lighting a fire.
And then the autumn rain comes. Good thing they finished all the garden work.
Sontag has been out with the strays again and given birth to two adorable kittens.
Now comes the time for indoor activities. Terje and his girlfriend Uma have been looking forward to this, they love to cosy up inside and watch movies.
Kari's temper hasn't changed since becoming a teen, so she's not always the best person to play games with. Her sister has plenty of experience with that.

They don't worry about a thing, not even closing the windows
They fry up some fruit on the grill for lunch.
Then they have a look in the small museum on the second floor of the spa.
But they quickly grow tired of the old artifacts and find something more interesting to do.
A good time for a selfie! And to take some medicine.

Yes Timothy, that's your little cousin in there.
She's here! Little Rebecca is born, and Marco gives his best wishes to the new parents.
Pablo has never seen anything as beautiful as Rebecca, he can't take his eyes off her.
The parents continue to read as much as they can about parenthood.

Hopefully no one sees them from the house.
They are so sweet to each other.
After that they meet up with aunt Victoria and uncle Tony for a game of bowling.

Here she is, the little sweetheart
All the attention is very exhausting, so it's soon time for a nap.
The parents are in for a busy time now with lots of caring, training and cleaning up.
But Rebecca is pretty well behaved and a fast learner.
He feels genuinely sad about this, and has obviously become a lot more mature lately. Which also means that he know what he wants, and is certain this is the right thing to do.

While she's crying alone in the bathroom, the kittens come running towards her.
No need to be sad when you can hug me!
So true.
