Sims 3 tearing at the bottom of my screen.

My game seems to be functioning perfectly fine but anytime I move the camera whether it is in the town map or create a sim there is always a tear at the bottom of my computer screen. Is there a way to fix it?

(Also I actually posted in the right section this time :D)

We know you have an Nvidia graphics card from a prior thread, but which one? Are you still maintaining a locked fps rate as you were assisted with on a prior thread? In-game, ctrl+shift+C to bring up the cheats console, type fps on (enter). As you play and move the game camera around, does the displayed fps rate stay at or below 60, or does it still wander all over the place at higher rates? To make the fps display go away, cheats console again and fps off (enter). Or, of course, use the RTSS display if that's what you have.

Does the fps rate stay locked and is the screen tear still there in windowed mode? If windowed mode seems to be working better than full-screen, you may want to try Windowed Borderless Gaming as part of your solution. Sometimes Win 10 and its Creator Updates get in the way of full-screen operations on older games.

So perhaps, like many others on the more powerful high end cards, Windowed Borderless will work out well for you?

I have one more question. How do I set it up once it's installed?

I have no idea since I've never had to use Windowed Borderless myself, my graphics card is strong enough but it's not high end, it's from 2011 and I am still on Win 7 for simming. If it's not clear how to use the program once it's installed, documentation is provided on the download site.
