Update Problems

Every time my game updates or there is a new expansion even if I have room for it to update or add the new game, for what ever reason it always Errors and says it has stopped working and then says it has failed and then I can't click the play button. I have repaired it because that has helped sometimes but now this time it hasn't I have turned off my firewall to help that way as well and still giving me issues. I remember that when I clicked what caused it and it showed TouchApp which I know is generally the source of any problem I have had cause even with Itunes it has done that to me because of the touchapp not being there or something anyways. Any Suggestions how to fix this problem?

Try shutting down your computer completely. Start the computer again, then log into Origin, and try to launch the game and see if that helps.

Try turning off origin in-game and see if that helps. To do that, go to Game Library in Origin . Right click on The Sims 4 picture. Click on “Game Properties”. Then untick the box that enables origin in-game

Try uninstalling and reinstalling origin and see if that helps

Try starting the game in windowed mode

No idea what causes it but maybe this might help. It's not always a virus problem just something seems corrupted and needs checking? It has a list of stuff that you could do to solve Touchup exe problems.

I am currently trying to figure out how to get the Caribbean stuff everyone else seems to be enjoying. I have repaired the game, restarted, updated, it says it's current. I don't seem to have gotten the August 16th patch at all and can't find anything on how to correct this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try searching for the items by name in the build mode catalogue and see if you can find them the. The names of them are in the slideshow at the end of this link article.

The fan is found in misc decor, and is called Dizzy Palms Ceiling Fan.
